The school courtyard was bustling with energy as students rushed to their classes. Y/N walked confidently through the crowd, clutching two iced coffee cans in her hands. Her eyes immediately found Choi Seungcheol, or as everyone called him, Scoups. He stood by the window, arms crossed, his sharp gaze staring into the distance.

Beside Y/N, Yeri, her best friend, nudged her playfully.

"Again with the iced coffee? What are we on now, day 523 of Project Win Scoups Heart?" Yeri teased with a grin.

Y/N laughed, nudging her back. "Consistency is key, Yeri. Today might be the day!"

Yeri shook her head with a fond smile. "You're unbelievable. Go get him, tiger."

With determination in her steps, Y/N approached S.Coups.

"Good morning, Scoups!" Y/N said brightly, holding out the iced coffee.

Scoups glanced briefly at the can before turning his eyes back out the window. "I'm good. Don't need it."

Y/N didn't falter. Instead, she popped open one can, took a sip, and grinned. "Your loss. It's extra delicious today!"

Without waiting for a reply, she walked away with a bounce in her step. Yeri was waiting at her locker, arms crossed and a sly smile on her face.

"So... rejection number what? Fifty? Sixty?" Yumi teased.

"Doesn't matter" Y/N replied cheerfully. "Tomorrow's another day."

The classroom buzzed with chatter as students milled about. Y/N was seated at her desk, sketching little doodles on her notebook, while Yumi leaned over her shoulder.

"Why do you think he's always so cold to you?" Yeri asked curiously.

Y/N shrugged. "Maybe he's just not used to someone like me. Someone who doesn't give up easily."

From across the room, Mingyu and Hoshi were chatting with S.Coups. While Hoshi seemed animated about something, Mingyu glanced over at Y/N and gave her a quick smile and a thumbs-up.

Y/N smiled back brightly, waving at Mingyu.

"At least some of his friends don't hate me," Y/N said playfully.

Yeri chuckled. "They don't hate you, silly. They just don't know how you keep bouncing back after every cold response."

"Simple" Y/N said with a grin. "I like him. And I'm not ashamed of it."

Lunch Break - Rooftop

The rooftop was filled with laughter as some of the Seventeen boys gathered around, enjoying their lunch. Y/N and Yeri sat near Joshua, Jeonghan and DK, who were joking around while sharing snacks.

"Y/N, you're fearless, I'll give you that," Jeonghan said as he handed her a piece of his sandwich.

Y/N accepted it with a grin. "Fearless or stubborn? Either way, I'm not giving up yet."

Joshua smiled softly. "You have a strong heart, Y/N. But just make sure you're taking care of yourself too."

Before Y/N could respond, the rooftop door creaked open and Scoups walked in, followed by Wonwoo and Woozi.

Y/N face lit up instantly. She stood up and waved enthusiastically.

"Scoups! Over here!"

Scoups gave her a brief glance before walking past her group and settling down with Wonwoo and Woozi at the far end of the rooftop.

Yeri placed a hand on Y/N arm. "You okay?"

Y/N nodded without hesitation. "Yep! At least he didn't leave the rooftop entirely. That's progress, right?"

DK chuckled. "That's one way to look at it, Y/N."

From afar, Scoups could hear Y/N laughter and see her bright smile as she chatted with her friends. His eyes lingered on her for a moment before he turned his attention back to Wonwoo.

After School - The Rain

The sky was painted in shades of gray as raindrops began to fall, soaking the pavement. Y/N stood by the school gate, her umbrella tucked under her arm, waiting. Yeri had already left, but Y/N stayed, her eyes scanning the school entrance.

When Scoups finally appeared, walking out into the rain without an umbrella, Y/N rushed towards him immediately.

"Coups! Wait!"

He stopped, turning slightly as Y/N held her umbrella above both of them.

"You'll get sick walking in the rain" she said cheerfully.

Scoups sighed, his wet hair sticking to his forehead. "You really don't know how to quit, do you?"

Y/N grinned. "Nope! Quitting isn't in my vocabulary."

For a brief second, something flickered in Scoups eyes-an emotion Y/N couldn't quite name.

But instead of saying anything, he stepped away from the umbrella and continued walking into the rain.

Y/N didn't move. She simply watched him go, her smile still intact.

"See you tomorrow, Seungcheol!" she called out brightly.

The rain poured harder but Y/N stood firm, her umbrella still open, her heart still unwavering.
