@chrismd10: I can't help but think the teams were slightly unfair 😂😂

Today was a rare day. My schedule was completely clear, and for the first time in a long time, I had no deadlines. No rush to complete a project. No emails to reply to. No shoots. No nothing, and it felt heavenly.

Of course, with the freedom, came the boredom. And then the overthinking. It was the reason why I always kept myself so busy. That way, there wasn't any time to think about anything for too long. It never did me any good.

Instinctively, my feet led me to the door to George's room. Usually, I would have no qualms knocking on his door, but Hattie was round, and I didn't want to disrupt either of them. Still, I knocked tentatively, ready to walk away if there wasn't a reply.

But Hattie was the one to shout to come in, and so I opened the door, and spotted Hattie lying across George's bed, whilst he was at his computer.

"You okay?" George asked, spinning round in his chair.

"I've got a free day and I am...bored. Too bored," I repeat, knowing that he would understand what I was getting at.

He shrugged. "We could do something, the three of us?" He suggested.

"Ooh good idea! We could go out for lunch?" She suggested, and George gave me an 'it's entirely up to you' look.

"Maybe not for lunch, but we could watch a movie or something here? Kinda just can't be bothered to get all dressed up, and I'd have to shower, and —"

"Girl, message understood. I can cook us some pasta or something —" she started, but this time it was my turn to stop her.

"George can do it. You're a guest," I grin, holding out my arm for her to take. "Thanks Clarkey!" I shout, dragging his girlfriend out of his room, ready to watch a movie.

I sat on the sofa whilst Hattie sorted out the TV, choosing a movie for us to watch. As obedient as ever, George was cooking some pasta for her, filling the room with the smell of fresh tomato sauce.

At the same time, my phone buzzed.
