Bleach: Eyes That Can See All - Chapter Two

Ayato POV

"I am back!" Ichigo announced as the two of us took off our shoes only to be greeted by a fly kick from Isshin-san Ichigo's father. I easily sidestepped letting Ichigo take the full out kick "your late Ichigo! Oh and of course it's nice to finally see you to Ayato," he added in at the last second.

I smiled a little "nice to see you haven't changed a bit Isshin-san," I replied watching both father and son argue. I had to stifle a laugh from the sheer sight of the two arguing with one another.

"Ara Ayato, you came I was worried when you didn't come over two weeks ago," Yuzu said running up to me I smiled giving her a pat on the head "yeah well I figured I should come today Ichigo has told me how much you're cooking has improved," I replied.

Yuzu nodded, dragging me to the dinner table "hai hai! Here I made a few extra dishes knowing that you would come here for sure this time," she said making me wince internally.

"Geez Yuzu give Ayato some space," came the voice of Karin who was eating some rice at well-mannered pace "sup Ayato," Karin greeted with a head tilt when I turned to greet her next, I shook my head back "sup to you as well Karin how you've been?" I asked while Yuzu began placing food down for me.

She smiles nodding her head "doing great by the way I tried out that new soccer technique you taught me it worked out pretty well," she replied with a prideful look I clapped "I knew you would win Karin you're quite the prodigy when it comes to learning soccer," I praised making her blush slightly from embarrassment.

I then looked back up to see Isshin and Ichigo still arguing "guess Isshin-san still does his surprise attacks on Ichigo," I commented Yuzu nodded taking a seat next to me "will you two stop it already? We have a guest with us tonight plus the food is going to get cold," she said.

Karin shakes her head "just leave the two alone, they'll come over eventually, seconds please," Karin said extending her bowl out while I began digging into my dinner as well with a quick itadakimasu.

"Mmmh not bad Yuzu this is delicious," I praised eating the bowl of Oyakodon Yuzu smiles shyly at the praise "thank you Ayato-kun I am glad you're enjoying it," she replied while refilling Karin's own bowl.

"Oh, by the way Ichigo there's another ghost beside you," I pointed out with my chopsticks causing Ichigo to start freaking out at it "god damn it another one of you fucker's ahhh!! Get away from me already!".

Karin sighs "poor Ichigo he's so popular compared to you Ayato," she said looking back at Ichigo who was currently trying to get rid of the ghost.

Yuzu couldn't help but express her envy "but I sort of envy the two of you I can only sense their presence but can't see them," Karin glances back at Yuzu replying "well I don't believe in ghosts and stuff anyways," I raise a brow at that placing my chopsticks down I retort "but you can clearly see them like Ichigo and I?"

Karin gives me a dead look "whether I see them or not doesn't really matter. If I don't believe in them then they don't exist," she explained which made both Yuzu and I sweat drop comically.

"You know what screw this I am going to bed," Ichigo finally declared after knocking Isshin-san out. Yuzu calls out after him in concern while Karin blamed Isshin-san as the three began talking amongst themselves.

Seeing this I figured it was about time I should head home as well "right...well I should probably go I've still got homework that needs to be finished," I said giving a false excuse.

Yuzu pouted "aww but you just got here can't you stay a bit longer?" she asked. I smiled, "sorry Yuzu maybe next time," I said giving her a small tap to her forehead.

With that I took my leave saying a quick goodbye to Karin and Isshin-san I took the long way home instead of the short way to enjoy the night stroll back home.

When I finally arrived, I tossed my school bag on the couch and collapsed onto my bed staring at the ceiling "the monsters...they've been a bit more active lately why?" I mutter out to myself no matter how much I contemplated on it though I couldn't find an answer, so I let myself fall to sleep.

-The Next Day-

Morning soon came by and my eyes snapped open upon abruptly sensing a familiar energy that belongs only to those monsters "something's definitely wrong before they used to attack more at night but to do so in the morning now," I mutter slipping on my black cloak along with my signature orange mask.

I marked the monster's energy signature in my mind before using Kamui to teleport to its location with a slight twist in space. I disappeared reappearing nearby on top of a building.

"Come on where are you I know your here somewhere," I mutter searching the area around me until the sound of a roar caught my attention "ah there you are beast," I said roof hopping to where it was.

My eyes widen beneath the mask when I see the monster chasing after Ichigo and the ghost of the girl from earlier the other day.

Doing a few hand signs 'Earth Style: Earth Wall,' I chant in my mind slamming my hands down. A few seconds later a wall of earth appeared separating both Ichigo and the spirit.

I extended my right arm getting ready to charge up a Raikiri in order put the monster down quickly but to my surprise a black butterfly appeared in one moment. The next a girl in black robes appeared slicing the beast's face in half she landed back down for a moment only to jump once more this time fully cleaving it in half.

When the battle was finished the remains of the beast disappeared but soon her cold stoic gaze changed, locking onto my masked figure the visible eyehole that was there did not show my eye rather it was hidden in darkness.

"You there stop where you are!" she finally spoke I shook my head and prepared to Kamui towards a nearby block where my school was. Slowly I began to disappear in a swirl "wait!" the girl called out, appearing in front of me but it was too late for I was already gone.

Appearing in the nearby alley I quickly changed back into my school uniform clothes sighing with relief "that was a rather close one...still I wonder who she is?" I questioned walking out the alleyway heading towards the school.
