"I think a tequila shot is needed to start," I tell him. "But then I'll take a vodka coke."
"Mixing in the first ten minutes? You're brave," he comments, but tells the bartender my order nonetheless.
"Make that two tequila shots, please!" I shout to the bartender, who gives me a thumbs up to let me know he'd heard me.
"You're having two now?" Harry asks, looking even more bewildered.
"Nah. One is for you," I tell him, just in time for the two shots to arrive in front of us, accompanied with a lime, and some salt.
"I hate tequila," he groans, staring at the shot in front of him.
"You hate socialising, but yet here you are, making a new friend," I tell him, casually shotting the tequila, not bothering with the lime or salt.
"You are a psychopath, has anyone told you that?"
I shrug. "Yeah, actually. But are you going to hurry up and shot that, or not?"
With a small sigh, he picks up the shot glass, and throws it back, just about managing it without grimacing.
"See, that wasn't so awful, was it?" I ask pointedly, grinning at him.
"I mean, it wasn't pleasant -" he counteracts, but he's interrupted by yet again another squeal.
"Harry! You delivered her! Thank you!" Freya giggles, grabbing onto my wrist, and yanking me away before I even have a chance to say anything else.
All I manage is a brief look back at the bar, where Harry is holding onto my vodka coke, and a bemused look plastered all over his face.
I focus my attention back onto Freya, who is still pulling me through a crowd of people, until she finally stops, and I see my two flatmates looking at me with amused expressions on their face.
"Nice of you to join us," George remarks, making everyone in the small group laugh.
Amongst the circle are Faith, Ethan, Simon, Talia, Josh and obviously Freya, George and Arthur.
"I was -"
"- outside with Harry," Faith finishes, leaning into Ethan as she laughs.
"I was actually just having a cigarette and he interrupted my peace, but sure," I correct her, straightening out my dress.
"You left me twenty minutes ago," Talia laughs.
"Yeah, I know! I was -"
"- at the bar with Harry," Freya says this time, and I give her a glare.
"I was getting a drink, because I am unfortunately not on your level yet, but I will be soon," I tell her. "And now my drink is still at the bar because someone dragged me away," I add, looking directly at Freya as I speak. "So, if you don't mind, I'm going to go and grab it."
"I'll come with you," Arthur interrupts, "I need another one anyway."
We head off together, leaving the group, heading through the crowd of people back to the bar.
"You better not be too hungover to film my new podcast episode tomorrow," I warn my friend when we arrive at the bar. "I'll get swarmed by all your fans in my comments if another week passes without you in it."
"Since when do I get hangovers?" He replies haughtily. "I'll be fine to film, don't you worry."
"Hey, can I get a vodka coke, and - Arthur what do you want?"
"And a pint of thatchers," he answers.
"Pathetic," I whisper into his ear.
"Thought you wanted me on top form tomorrow?" He replied smugly, just as our two drinks arrived.
"You're insufferable. I'm gonna need another six of these to even deal with you for the rest of the night."
