If you hate NTR, this might be the place for you.

After reading that infamous NTR titled "Korean Girl in America" with a good friend of mine, she felt both physically sad and angry to her core, so she suggested that I make this.

I was also inspired to write this especially since I've been reading "Together Again" by Yeetgineer739. So please feel free to take a look at that as well and be sure to follow the story and author. That one's a bit more on the light-hearted side of things, whereas this might feel more angsty and dramatic.

(P.s. I don't own any artwork that will be shown throughout the story. All rights belong to their respective owners)

Hope you like it.

Y/N's POV:

So...

I don't even know where to start... from the beginning I suppose? Or perhaps the middle? Or... the end?

Ah, screw it! Let's just start from the beginning.

My name is Y/N. I was pretty much like most nerds in school. Not many friends, picked on by the popular boys and girls just for being a nerd. Y'know, the usual shit.

I had contemplated death for a long time, as I wasn't open with my mother and little sister about these kinds of things

I had contemplated death for a long time, as I wasn't open with my mother and little sister about these kinds of things. I grew up in a home with an abusive alcoholic father who would beat me, my mother, and my little sister Aera. So being alone and unable to talk about it with others was the norm for me, and eventually it would take a toll on me.

But what turned my life around was getting to know Hana Choi; the very definition of the girl next door.

Her being a loner like myself made it easier for the both of us to communicate with each other

Her being a loner like myself made it easier for the both of us to communicate with each other. We knew what it was like; the feeling of being alone. It was safe to say we were close friends for a few years until we decided to be a couple when I graduated from middle school.
