- In the Past -

The Bianchi Mansion, a place of much grandeur and splendor. Home to the long history belonging to the Italian Mafia family. From the richly patterned ceramic tiles to the ancient oil portraits of former family ancestors, the glory of the Bianchi family was there for all to see and reminisce. Though now, it was home to the current Bianchi generation. A grand yet close family.

Elijah's steps echoed through the halls as he swept past the many rooms. A low cough made him pause before a small smirk slipped onto his face.

"Vieni fuori, piccolina!" he called, his steps getting lighter as he crept over to where the noise came from. "You're the last one I need to find!"

First it was a gasp, then a few shuffles before he finally found the source of the noise. He chuckled while opening the bathroom door. The small 'unsuspecting' pile of clothes could only cause him to chuckle as he pretended to search in random spots.

"She's not in the toilet, nor the sink so she must be..." he paused while inching closer. "Right here!"

A tiny voice screamed in suprise. "How'd you fine me!" the little girl pouted. "I was super hidden!"

Elijah smirked while picking her up out of the pile before giving her a light kiss on the forehead. "Non puoi nasconderti da me, piccolina~"

Little Gabriela sighed before hugging him tightly as they made their way downstairs. The rest of the family was already there in the 'losers corner'.

"Finally found Gabriela huh?" Alexander chuckled while looking away from his game. "Mhm, she was really hidden." Elijah sighed sarcastically. A proud smirk arose on the little girl's face as they spoke of her victory.

A beautiful lady with long black hair walked over and reached for the little one before spinning her around and kissing her forehead. "Seeing as my bambina won, we can go anywhere you want for dinner!" she smiled.

"You favor her too much Isabella" the older man seated on the couch spoke as he closed his book. "Ofcourse I do Aless, she's our daughter anddd a winner!" She boasted. Little Gabriela knew only to follow suit, "I'm a winner!"

The room overflowed with coos and words of agreement and praise as well as a few sarcastic no's.

Wake up.
...
Wake up!
...
No.002 Wake the hell up!

A series of harsh shakes snap her out of the dream, the instructor's angry voice pulling her out of the haze. She quickly rose and stood at attention. "No.002, awake and awaiting instructions sir!" she saluted.

The instructor grunted before jabbing at her forehead. "You're usually up cadet! What? Was the job too hard yesterday?" The instructor scoffed.

"Sir No Sir!" Gabriela replied back as the barrage of jabs were thrown. "...Hmm good, stop slacking off now. Unless you want to be sent to confinement again that is~" he laughed as he walked off. "At ease!"

"Thank you sir!" She bowed while watching him leave. Listening for his distant steps before collapsing back on the floor. "I fucking hate him..." She groaned while rubbing her temples.

After a few minutes, a small voice popped out from the bathroom. "He's just mad the guys on top like you more than him~" the low voice hummed. Gabriela scoffed before plopping back on her bed, "Maybe he should do his job better then."

The voice chuckled in response. "And you get out here Gio, you should have warned me!" She demanded while pointing at him. Giovanni stepped out from the bathroom and shrugged. "Was in the shower when he came -" he plopped beside her, "plus it made sense for only one of us to feel his wrath than the both of us no?"

He smiled while turning to her. She scoffed in response before turning over.

The both of them went silent, the creaking of the bed, water dripping from the faucet, the AC running through the vents. Only those could be heard.

"You dreamt... about home huh?" Giovanni asked, breaking the silence. She pursed her lips, giving thought to what she should say before just nodding. He chuckled in response while rubbing slow circles on her back. "It's been 9 years since it happened huh?" he continued, "wonder what they're up to..."

As she looked off at the wall while he continued to mumble, her heart ached. She wanted to know too but... it was too long, too much damage was done.

"... Whatever they're up to, we aren't seeing them again. Get over it and them" she replied coldly, "I don't want to lose you because you fucked up a mission got it?"

"Ma'am yes ma'am" he replied playfully before hugging her. "Together always~"
