She slid on the floor, and lunged behind the counter.

The bar was pitch black, her eyes strained looking around. She tried using the little sunlight left outside to be her guide as she felt for her flashlight.

She clicked it on and looked around.

She looked around for any zombies, and made a run for it through the door.

It was jammed.

She wanted to avoid making noise so it wouldn't alert the zombies.

But what other choice did she have?

She slammed her body against the door. Just as she thought, the sounds immediately alarmed the zombies. She continued to slam her body on the door until it burst open.

"Leon!" She called.

He turned around

"Let's go!" Ann yelled out.

Leon pushed off the rest of the zombies, and sprinted to her

He made it inside just in time.

They seemed to be in a hallway.

Its was dim and the lights flickered throughout the hall. The wood floors were lifting up. Some of the wooden beams along the wall were broken. The walls were smudged and dirty. There was a couch against the wall.

The zombies pounded at the door.

"I'll put the couch to barricade the door!" Ann said, exhausted.

She shoved the couch to the door.

She pulled out her gun and looked at the signs on the doors.

She found one that said "dining hall". This could lead to the lobby. From there, the rooms.

She opened the door. Only to find about 50 zombies in the room.

She quickly closed the door frightened before they could notice her, and called out to Leon.

"Uh..Leon? I think we might have a little problem" Ann yelled out to him.

"What did you do?" Leon yelled back. He held his gun and was looking around at the damage.

Ann gives the empty hallway a look.

"I didn't do anything! Just get your ass over here" she said annoyed.

Ann can hear Leon sigh and start coming over.

"What happened?" He said to her.

"Look for yourself" Ann said dryly, slightly opening the door of the "dining room" for him.

"Fight off all of those? That's not possible. We don't know where the family is. We can't waste any time." Ann said as they peaked through the door together

Leon scoffs as he pulls out a green object from his waist holster.

Ann's eyes widened.

"What the fuck?! You had a grenade with you this whole time?" Ann says annoyed, still holding the door.

"Move." He ignored her comment before pushing open the door.

He opened the grenade and threw it in.

The zombies instantly reacted to the bomb going up to it, investigating the foreign object.

Ann shut the door quickly. Leon grabbed her arm and pulled her away from the door.

The loud noise echoed against the walls, making the whole building shake.
