The night was chilly, and dark. Ann spotted a few lights in the distance. "Must be the dock" Ann thought to herself.

The drivers had stayed quiet the whole ride.

The car parked, and Ann got out quickly. The general was waiting for her, along with two other military personnel. Ann opened the trunk and took her bags out.

"I'll get those bags for you ma'am" The man said to her. He looked about 60, had a crooked smile, and wore a uniform. He walked up to her, reaching his hands out to take her bags from her.

"Oh no, I'm good. Thank you, though." She replied, trying to give him a slight smile

"No please." He insisted, keeping a pleasant grin on his face. Ann gave him an approving smile, and handed him her bags. She walked with him as he went to load the bags on the boat.

"Ann!" The general greeted her. "Glad to see you are on time, and ready."

Ann nodded.

The boat was quite small, not what she was expecting a government to provide. It was slightly tattered and rusted, but seemed to function well. The general saw the look on her face.

"This has to be as secretive as possible, can't let anyone know a government boat is active." He said.

Ann got in the boat.

The inside was pretty nice.

It had Beige Leather seats, and wood accents.

Not too bright of lighting either.

There were two cabinets. One that opened two shelves of canned food, and the other opened the water. It wasn't a really big space but it was not too small. Ann sat down. She had been calm, until she reached her destination. The seats were comfortable enough for her to have a decent sleep until morning.

...

Ann woke up from her slumber. It was still dark and quiet outside. She slowly got up from her seat, still drowsy. At that moment it hit her.

She had totally forgotten about the other agent that would be working with her. She hadn't seen anyone else but her on the boat since she came.

She picked up a bottle of water and went out on the deck for fresh air. The boat had already taken off. She sat down on a chair, and took a sip of water. She enjoyed the cool breeze through her hair and the sound of the waves. It calmed her.

It wasn't until half an hour later, she started to feel nauseous. Ann put her hand to her mouth.

She was getting sea sick.

Before she knew it, she ran to the railing. Puke exited her mouth. Ann coughed and gagged, her lip trembling.

Ann suddenly heard a man's voice beside her

"You okay?"

Ann's eyes widen at the sudden noise, she turns back to see a muscular, blonde American man with blue eyes , in a navy blue compression shirt black pants with a holster. The man also wears black combat boots with a brown sheepskin bomber jacket. He sat down about 3 feet away from her. Leaning on the wall of the cabin.

"Yeah I'm good." Ann mumbles "You're my new partner aren't you?" She says observing his outfit.

The boy scoffs "Who else would I be?"

Ann looks at him weirdly, "Wow, rude..." She thought of the mission.

Ann had regretted not asking for any information about the mission, but she had been afraid to seem irritated, as if the mission was an issue. She had waited this long to be assigned to one after all.

"...Do you know anything about this mission? They didn't tell me anything." Ann asked.

"We're supposed to find some government officials' family members." Leon says not wanting to reveal much details to Ann

Ann just nods

Leon turned to her, and looked her up and down.

"Not the person I expected as my Partner." He said.

"What do you mean by that?" Ann gives him an annoyed look as she observes him too.' He was attractive but sadly his personality did not match his face, at least for now. Was he really that kind of guy? Was working with him gonna be difficult??'

Ann decided to at least try to get to know who the guy she was working with was.

"Just not what I pictured." He said, looking back at the sea.

Ann stayed quiet and glared at him.

"I usually work alone anyways." He added

"I think I know why" Ann spits out not realizing what she had said. Her eyes widened as she realized what she had said.

Leon gives her a glare.

"So, how long have you been working here?" She asks, trying to switch the topic.

"What is this interview?" The man said, giving her an annoyed look.

"Just trying to get to know you." Ann said offended. "So how long?" She questioned. She hadn't seen anyone else since she came aboard the boat other than the captain. Had he been up here the whole time?

"Does it matter?" He looked back at her. "Why don't you go back in and get your beauty sleep?"

"Excuse me?"

Ann was taken aback by surprise. Had he really just said that to her. She was starting to get agitated now. "You do realize I'm a heavily trained government agent. Right?"

The man laughs, "wow, aren't I intimidated?" He said sarcastically.

Ann shoots him a glare, she is starting to get annoyed now. She sighed and realized she needed a good relationship with this man to do good on this mission.

"My name Ann, what's yours?" She yelled, watching him walk off. "Where are we going?"

"None of your business, and it's Leon!" He yelled back.
