[TW: descriptions of blood, wounds]

The way Chris scrambled for his phone in his pocket, Felix's unconscious body in his arms. He was sobbing, he was terrified. Felix wasn't waking up and he was only losing more and more blood. He had whipped his jacket off so fast, wrapping it tightly around Felix's rapidly bleeding arm to try and slow the blood loss down. It wasn't an intense wound, it was multiple smaller ones allowing his blood to slip through. He placed his phone between his shoulder and head, leaning his head to press his ear up against it after he dialled the number for emergency services. He had to call an ambulance, get Felix to a hospital as fast as possible. He couldn't lose him.

The ambulance soon arrived, the blaring sound and flashing lights of it outside Something Sweet letting Chris know it was gonna be okay, or at the very least so he hoped. They rushed Felix and Chris to the hospital quickly. They got Felix the help he needed as fast as they possibly could, they knew his life was at risk. So did Chris, that's why he couldn't stop crying and shaking and panicking. It got to a point when he was having a full blown panic attack, causing a nurse to have to take him to seperate room whilst they did what they could to help Felix.

The nurse was calming Chris down, going through breathing exercises and speaking reassuring words. She tried everything she could to bring him down to a calmer state.

Thankfully, she inevitably did. Which was good for both the sake of him and her, as she needed information about Felix that she couldn't get from him earlier when he was distressed. She also just didn't like to see anyone in a state like that.

"Okay, thank you for telling me that about Felix." The nurse smiled softly, after she had asked for and recieved information about Felix's full name, birthday, home address and place he was born. "Now can you tell me what your relation is with Felix?"

"He's my fiance." Chris replied, sniffling away the last few stray tears. He didn't hesitate, despite how he normally would. He just needed to make sure Felix was okay and the nurse didn't seem like the kind of woman to be homophobic.

In fact, the nurse's heart only broke a little, knowing how panicked and scared Chris was and it was all for his fiance. She could see how much he truly loved him. "Thank you, can you describe what happened? When Felix lost consciousness, if you know."

"Well, I had gone out for the night to see my friends. It'd been a while since I'd seen them and stuff had gone in their lives and stuff. When I came back about 11 o'clock, I saw Felix leaning on the counter as we live in the shop we run together. And then the next thing I saw was him collapsing to the ground. When I ran to him to see if he was okay, I noticed the blood on the counter and the blood coming from his arm." Chris explained, struggling to speak of the sight of Felix in that horrific state.

"Thank you, do you know of anything that may have caused him distress? Or has he ever caused harm to himself before?"

"He's had a lot going on with his family lately, I've only been back in Korea for almost 2 months now as I had taken a job offer that was in London. I only came back when Felix showed up in London, confessing to me that his mother had come to see him without notice and spoken to him so horribly that he had a suicide attempt. When we arrived back in Korea, I had spoken to her and she seemed to only had misunderstood that her way of parenting was wrong and unfair on her kids. We even went out for a meal soon after with her and Felix's sisters. But then his mum went back to Australia and so did his sisters, that was two weeks ago. I don't know if anything has happened since then, I haven't been told anything if it has."

"Thank you for telling me all this, Chris. It must all be a lot for you too, as it's clear you love him dearly." The nurse smiled softly, before continuing on. "Is there anyone you can contact? Perhaps one of Felix's sisters? To get any information he may not have told you. It's important we find out, not only for his sake but for yours too."

"I think his older sister, Rachel, would probably know something. Should I call her?"

"Yes please, Chris, thank you. Put it on speaker, if that's okay."

He reached into his pocket, pulling out his phone and finding her number which she had given him in case of emergencies with Felix. This most certainly was an emergency with Felix. He then pressed on it and held the device out with the speaker button on, ready to talk to her.

"Hello?" Rachel spoke down the phone, confusion clear in her voice.

"Hi, Rach. Listen, I'm sorry for calling but something's happened with Felix and I need to know if anything has happened with your mum or something since you guys went back to Sydney?"

"Has he not told you? She's been arrested. Is Lix okay? What's happened with him?"

"She's been arrested? What for? Was it for what she did to you guys?"

"That and the fact that she- um, killed our dad."

"Oh my god, Felix told me your dad disappeared years ago, that must be why..."

"Yeah. Is Felix okay?"

"Well... no. I came back from seeing my friends, and he almost immediately collasped and was losing a lot of blood. We're in the hospital right now, but I had a panic attack so they had to take me to a seperate area."

"Oh my gosh, do I need to come back to Korea? Is he alive? Are you okay?"

"No, hopefully and no. I'm terrified."

"Well, keep me updated. He'll be okay, Chris, I promise you."

And then she hung up, probably panicked and scared herself for her brother's life and probably gone off to tell Olivia or Abby.

"Chris." The nurse spoke, equally as in awe at all this as he was. "Would you like a hug?"

Chris merely nodded, allowing the nurse to give him a short, comforting hug. She moved away soon, an empathetic expression over her face before somebody came into the room.

"Sorry to shock you," The man said, noticing how Chris jolted at the sudden sound of the door opening. "You can come see Mr. Lee now, he's okay but just needs to rest. I think he needs to see you as well, as he keeps asking for you."

Chris' face had lit up, a billion emotions rushing through his veins but primarily a flush of pure and utter relief.
