How long should I wait?
For my heart to stop aching
For the loneliness to end
For someone to share my life
To share my laughs
To wipe away my tears.
I ask only for love.
Is it too much to ask?
To feel the warmth of a hug
The softness of a kiss
To be enveloped in a strong pair of arms
To be with someone who I love
Who in return loves me for being me.
