In the matter of seconds, everything shifted as soon as the fake Jennifer dropped the act while her hand was reaching for something from behind. She deadpanned, "You shouldn't have come here."

And before anyone knew it, a gunshot was heard.

Bang!

Not only did the booming sound gave Klaus a fright, but it also gave him a bullet right through his chest.

"Klaus!"

He wasn't able to fathom that blood was dripping out of him until his body hit the cold, hard ground. The familiar feeling of his life flashing before his eyes was starting to kick in. He'd experienced it so much in the past, he didn't think he was still used it.

He watched his memorable memories go by, one by one. Until memories of his best friend passed by and came flooding out to the brim of his tear ducts. Had his heart not been shot, the way his heart was swelling to this epiphany would feel so much better. Alas, it merely led him to hyperventilate quicker to his death.

He could no longer move and stop the commotion that was occurring around him, although he could still hear them.

"Let me go!"

"You can't trust these people. Come with me. I will keep you safe."

Klaus could only see the cloudy sky getting enveloped by the black spots that surrounded his vision, but he can still hear the violent kill of Ben's power in one break of the wind. Subsequently, Diego got there in time.

"He's bleeding out!" Diego announced.

Klaus was only able to wheeze and heave for his dear life. He was still afraid dying after all; but he couldn't help but still hope and ask for help. The strange thing about this is, Klaus merely had one person in mind:

Y/N.

He repeatedly said her name in his mind ever since all his memories completely flashed amidst death's lingering. He called for her as if he was asking for help, despite his brothers' presences. The reason? He himself didn't know.

Y/N.

"Come on. You're not safe here. Let's go." He heard Ben say to Jennifer.

Y/N.

"Come on. Let's get you in the van."

"Ow!"

A sharp pain made itself known to Klaus as careful as Diego pulled him up from the cold asphalt. It was then, Klaus didn't see the point in taking him along with them, seeing as carrying him around would be a nuisance for them. The hospital was miles away, so there was no point; and he was willing to accept that on the spot.

"Your crying blood again."

Y/N blinked away her bloody tears and wiped it off swiftly. The train ride home fell silent after thirty minutes went by, until Y/N heard Klaus. At first, she thought she was only imagining things, but in the blink of an eye, an image of Klaus' limp body after getting shot flashed before her eyes.

"Okay, clearly, this isn't a telepathy thing anymore. What is it?" Number Five questioned. He can no longer be fooled by that excuse, seeing as they were the only ones in the train.

She couldn't help but stand up from her seat. She was eager to get off that she stood by the doors, her hand turning white by the tightness of her grip on the pole next to her. "We have to go back." She said to the boy who was walking up to her.

"We are going back, I just need to try--"

"You'll have plenty of time exploring your train set." Y/N cut him off, "Let's just go back for now."
