You realized that you feel comfortable around him.. you don't have to tell him pretty lies, you don't have to 'act' kind to him, you can just be yourself... that's why you decided to start ignoring him a lil more in the hope he'll leave by himself, but he didn't leave.. he was getting closer and closer to you.. you were trying to push him away, while he was pulling you closer.. everytime it felt like he 'won'.. a long time ago, that's when you learned your lesson for trusting people too easily.. you acted like you were okay, when they apologised and asked you to give them a second chance, and you were so stupid to keep giving them the 'really last chance' because you didn't want them to leave you, you didn't want to be lonely, so from then on you always kept people on a certain distance to protect yourself from getting st#bbed in the back again.. to you it felt like he was pushing you out of your 'comfort zone' while he was actually your comfort zone all this time.. you felt safe with him..
