Start from the beginning

Andaleeb didn't even know and realize how suddenly he became her whole world. How he snatched away her heart and how he captured her soul? It happened so abruptly and shockingly that right now, when the realization dawned over her, she couldn't try to even think about killing him.

She was really in intense love with Masab. Revenge, anger, hurt, and freedom; she didn't want to care about that at all. He was her husband, and if they touched each other and she developed feelings for him, that was totally fine and legally correct. She didn't want to betray Aurang in the first place. She was ready to elope for him by disappointing her family. But fate had other plans. If Aurang opted for a cowardly way then Masab went for a wild and brave one. Both ways were morally wrong, but the thing was, Masab was her husband now. How could she fight against her own heart now, which was getting used to her husband? When Aurang was dead now then why couldn't she think of herself now? Couldn't she become a bit selfish? This guy was crazy for her and she was sure that he would fill with life with happiness and love.

While kissing, Masab must have felt the wetness of her tears on his cheek but she didn't care at all. She got to know about the reality, and that was the utter fact that she couldn't stay away from Masab.

Her hand felt limp and then she almost felt that it worked on its own to release the gun. It fell on the floor with a clutter sound. Their kiss deepened as he started devouring her sweet mouth like a feast while his hand worked over her dress as he pulled the fabric back over her shoulders. Suddenly, Masab pulled away from her and then got out of bed.

He ignited the lamp over the bed's side table again, and then his heated gaze fell over her. Andaleeb was looking at him already with widened eyes, which were red and glistening from the tears. Her cute nose and lips were pink and swollen, and she was breathing heavily. Her messy hair was all scattered around her face making her look pretty.

He gave her a bone-chilling smile before he crouched down and grabbed the gun. When he got back on his feet, he held Andaleeb's hand and hurled her out of the bed. She who wasn't anticipating this sudden act, gasped and then suddenly collided with his chest.

Masab cupped her jaw and brought his face near to her. "If you want to take my life, I won't let you do that, sweetheart. I will do that myself. I won't let any blame come on you. You want freedom; I'll give it to you. But till I am alive, let me relish in the fact that you are only mine."

He again pecked her lips before smearing the gun with his sweatpants' pocket, removing her touch from it. He then moved the front of the gun towards his chest and put his index finger over the trigger.

Andaleeb's jaw dropped, and she almost shrieked, seeing what he was doing to do.

"Masab, no. What are you doing?" She whimpered, trying to snatch away the gun from his hand.

"Take your hands off, Andaleeb," he harshly muttered, as he pushed her away.

She shook her head, crying once again. "I won't let you do that. Stop this."

"You want freedom from me. I won't give you a divorce in my life. This gives you the only option to kill me and I won't let you have any blame. So that's the only that I should take my life," he explained, matter of factly.

She once again put her hand over the gun. "No! I don't want that. I don't want any freedom. I don't want to kill you. Please don't do that. I thought that I wanted this but when I attempted to follow my fury self, it was bland and hollow. It didn't have anything. Stop this, Masab. Please for my sake."

"I am doing this for your sake, my love," he said with a warm smile.

"No, please no..." Her grip over the gun heightened as was the case with her tears and then suddenly a bang sound reverberated in the surrounding.

Andaleeb cried out hard as she almost lost her balance in fear and shock. In between their fight for the gun, the trigger got pressed. However, she couldn't make out whose finger did that among the two, but the gun did its work. But she wasn't injured. The direction of the pistol was towards Masab.

Masab hissed and then he collided with the bed's side table before dropping on the ground. A clutter sound was heard by this, and Andaleeb didn't even know how to breathe. The bullet had attacked his left arm and now red and fresh blood was flowing through his arm. He closed his eyes monetarily to control the pain before he opened them again, diverting his attention towards his wound before staring back at his frightened wife. She had plopped her hand over her mouth as her eyes were widened in shock.

For a long while, Andaleeb didn't know what to say, what to do, and how to react. Her feet seemed to be glued to the floor which didn't allow her to even move. But then the constant flow of the blood from his wound almost woke her up from her dream and she rushed towards him. Masab was grunting when she approached him as he had placed his hand over his wound. She sat beside him and placed her hand over his thigh.

That very much gave the picture of their first meeting. His same arm was wounded by a gunshot when he asked for her help, and she provided him with first aid in a hotel room. But so much has changed since then. At first, she only helped him because of humanity and because he was clinging to her. She was slightly irritated as well. She didn't know that he would come back into her life. But now, he seemed her whole world. She was deeply in love with him and saw him in pain due to her clenched heart.

She didn't care or think about anyone or anything else right now but him. He needed her more than anything else right now. She was foolish to think that her hatred would won over her love for him. That wasn't right. The love that she felt for him overwhelmed everything else. This encounter proved the fact that she couldn't even think about getting separated from him.

"Masab..." She moaned softly. "What did you do? You didn't have to do that."

He gave her a weary smile. "Sorry, the aim got a bit distracted by me. I can once again try if you want. This time I'll definitely aim at my heart. But remember that, even after death, this heart will only take your name."

"Shut up! Don't you dare speak about killing or murder anymore? I can't even hear this anymore. I feel like my heart will explode. I...I love you so much that I couldn't do what my revenge self wanted," she asserted, with a pout. But then suddenly realization hit her. Did she just confess to him? But what she could do anymore? Andaleeb was tired of this fight against herself now. She wanted peace.

Her confession caught him off guard, and all of a sudden, he felt that all the pain had flown away. "What did you say?"

Andaleeb's cheeks reddened but she didn't talk about that thing anymore. Everything could wait for a while, first she had to make sure that he was fine. She hooked her fingers in her hair in frustration. "What did you do, Masab? This wound. What will I do now?"

Masab patted her cheek tenderly, this action made his expressions distorted but then he gained the composure again. "The same thing which you did in New York. Help me with my wound."

"What?" She mumbled, distractedly.

"Believe me, sweetheart; this wound is nothing for me. I have seen worse than that. The bullet has just touched my flesh and moved away. I can take care of this small wound. But first, I need to hear again that you love me. You did say it. Didn't you?" He questioned in a husky voice, grabbing her wrist.

She was still contemplating on what to say when the door knocked. The hotel staff would be here as they must have heard the sound of the gunshot. What would they do now?
