"Your wife is so beautiful, Mr. Shah. You both make a perfect couple. She suits you," the girl mumbled, maintaining the same warm smile.

"Hi Andaleeb. I am Hira," she said, now focusing on her. Andaleeb took her hand for the shake as she regained her composure.

Like this, they met many other people, and Masab kept on introducing her as his wife. They somehow had an idea that the marriage occurred very suddenly and out of the blue, but the kidnapping thing was swayed away aptly by the Shah family. Hence, she was getting the respect, status, and appreciation that she deserved as Masab's wife.

A collection of violinists and pianists were placed at the far end of the garden. The change of music was nice to the ears anyway. As they occupied their reserved table, the waiter came forward and offered them a tray full of welcome drinks. Andaleeb's throat was so dry that she resorted to a glass of water. She gulped it down quickly, feeling weird that she was feeling so anxious about her husband's scrutiny and presence. Masab, though, took a glass of cold drink.

His curious stare landed over her and he smirked. "Are you already making plans to kill me?"

She took a sip of the water before looking his way. "Now I think I should really do that. My way to freedom is only this probably."

He slightly laughed and she never found someone's laugh this soothing to hear. "Freedom is not as easy as it's said, Andaleeb. You don't realize it now but I am not solely present in your life. I am not only binding and forcing you to stay in my life There are many other places where you can find me."

She roamed her gaze around and it focused on the couple standing over the far corner who were talking lovingly. She suddenly felt a burning sensation in her heart at this. "I am not that fool to actually fall into your words. I know you are playing around with me. You are messing with my mind. You know exactly that I can't resist you and you are using it as leverage against me. You know, whatever you did for me, either right or wrong, fascinates me. But one thing you need to know is that I am not an idiot. You want me to confess it but I can't forget what you did to him. My hatred for you will always remain higher than any other emotion I feel for you. And you have to accept me with this hatred, Masab. If sometimes you get tired of me, give me the freedom which I need."

Masab jabbed his lips together as he sighed when her talk ended. "You know that I'll never get tired of you."

"Wait makes a person exhausted, Masab. And you aren't an angel or saint. My heart will---will never open up for you," she asserted before standing up and walking away.

Masab followed her with his eyes. "You never stammer, Andi. You only hesitate when you have to lie."

Lie. This love story was only based on lies.

As she stood near the swimming pool, she suddenly felt cold. Andaleeb hugged her arms around herself. Her mind was jumbled up with so many emotions now. At this corner of the lawn, not many guests were present. The sound of music also faded away. And the quietness of this place was increasing her headache more.

Masab wasn't wrong when he said that he wasn't just in her life. He could be found in many other places. Her mind, thoughts, heart, and soul. He was present everywhere. Just killing him wouldn't bring her anything. This was getting so weird and disturbing.

She never wanted her life to mess up like this. In her life partner, she always wished to see loyalty and love from his side. Aurang was like this. But she never expected a dangerous love story for her in whose every nook, there were obstacles and uncertainties. She wanted to hate Masab but she couldn't. She wanted to despise him but she couldn't. Where was her life leading and what she had to do with it was out of her understanding.
