Andaleeb nodded, giving her hand in his. Masab's fingers closed over her soft hand and she felt a tingling sensation in her every pore. He brought her hand near to his face and dropped a lingering peck over her knuckles.

He once again reached near her ear and kissed her earlobe. "If you dare to kill me, you can get the freedom which you want."

His husky whisper made blood rush through her veins. She scowled at him. "Don't play around with me. I am not an idiot."

He instead pecked her temple. "An eye for an eye. A tooth for a tooth. A dead body for a dead body. Let me add; a heart filled with love for a heart filled with love. A soul captured by you with a soul captured by you. And your heart which beats for him, can it dare to put to sleep my heart which beats for you? If that's really the truth."

She didn't reply, feeling weird about these talks. Her news of freedom should act as a happy one for her. But they were making her distressed now.

He opened the door of the passenger's seat for her and then made her sit down. Crossing the side, he himself reclined behind the steering wheel and started the engine. Soon, he put the car on the road. After a drive of almost forty minutes, they reached the hall where the party was arranged. It was like an open garden, and in the nighttime, the scenery looked more beautiful and ethereal.

Seeing the lavish setting, Andaleeb was mesmerized. No doubt her parents wanted her to go back to her kidnapper because of this lifestyle. They maybe weren't totally wrong. If they thought about that deal, which would help them to thrive in their business, they also cared about her future. Whatever the truth was, her reputation was tainted because of that incident. She would have never gotten it back unless she wouldn't have been married to Masab.

However, who would tell them what scars had slashed her soul and heart because of all this?

The real party was on the third floor, and for this, they had to use the elevator. When the elevator came to the basement floor, they hopped inside it.  Masab arranged the setting so that the elevator would stop on the third floor where they had to reach.

They both were alone in the elevator and Andaleeb couldn't understand why her heart started beating fastly. Why did the tension in this small cabin increase so much all of a sudden? The only sound here was the sound of their breathing and it made a perfect melody.

Out of the blue, she felt goosebumps over her neck and then a hot breath hovered there, making her go insane. After a while, she felt his broad and strong hands over her shoulders. Andaleeb stiffened and stared at him through the mirror which was attached to the front wall of the elevator. He was already gazing at her, his eyes hungry and filled with desire.

"Sometimes I just want to hide you from this world," he murmured, sensually.

Andaleeb raised a brow in question.

"So much bloodshed would occur. My hands would fill with blood because you are indeed the most beautiful woman I ever saw. And men like beauty. But you are my woman, and whoever tries to think about whose mine, I won't think twice before spilling his blood," he grumbled, without any tinge of falseness in his tone.

"What can be expected from a possessive and insecure bastard?" She clapped back, feeling nice how he claimed her to be his woman.

Masab moved her hair and placed it over one of her shoulders, letting the sight of her back be bare in front of him. His fingers roamed over the straps of her blouse, making her gasp for air. "I take pride in my possessiveness, sweetheart. I like how you are possessive of me too. You gave a perfect lesson to someone who was trying to lay her eye on your man."

She stilled hearing him and her eyes widened. "What?"

Masab smiled. "I saw you confronting Hoorain and showing her true place to her. I love how you call me your husband with so much pride. I expected this from you."

She shook her head in dismay, a pink line crept over her cheeks. "You are insane. Do you still follow me?"

He pressed his lips against her bare shoulders. "You are mine. Why do I need to do that? Some things are closer to the heart, and the heart pulls you towards the one it feels for."

"Hey! What are you doing?" She rumbled, seeing him kissing her back.

They were in an elevator, and the tension of desire and chemistry between them, specifically here, was both dangerous, wrong, and seductive.

"Not a good idea I think so," he mumbled.

He made a distance between them and Andaleeb groaned inwardly in annoyance over the lack of his warmth. She sometimes couldn't believe that what was happening to her.

The bell rang and then the elevator stopped. Masab came ahead and held her soft hand. He placed a delicate kiss over her neck and then they both stepped out.

"Let's go, sweetheart," he offered her, and his sensual voice was already making a shiver run down her spine.

This was such a dangerous ride.
