Bi Jan gritted her brows. "Why would I be angry at you? You didn't even do anything. In fact, I want your happiness at any cost because of how things have changed."
Of course, Masab had told them that he had married her against her will and perhaps the offer thing, too. That was the reason why she was so victimized by everyone here. Why he did that was out of her understanding though. However, he did say that he loved her without any fear, and he wasn't afraid of speaking the truth in front of the whole world. These things should have acted as a turn-off for Andaleeb, but they were having the opposite effect. She liked that Masab was so openly and fearlessly in love with her.
"How's life going for you, beta?" She then asked her.
"Everything is fine," she mumbled, quickly.
What else she could have said? That was the truth as well. Everything was fine for her except for that moment when Aurang's memory strongly struck her, and it made her want to destroy everything.
A few minutes later, Bi Jan came up with a red colored small box in her hand. She sat near to her and then held her palm before putting the box over it. Andaleeb first stared at the box blankly and then her face. What was she up to?
"What's that, Bi Jan?" She was confused.
"Open it yourself," she urged her.
Andaleeb opened the lid and it revealed two golden bangles.
"These are mine. My mother-in-law gave me when I got married. I always protected them for Masab's bride. He had always remained very beloved of mine. And now since I am assured that he married the best girl he could ever get, I am wholeheartedly giving these to you as my gift. Accept them," Bi Jan asserted, truthfully.
Best girl. Best man. Best husband. Best wife. Was it that easy to claim that based on what the eye would see? Andaleeb had all the intentions to bring humiliation upon Masab's family by acting badly but her own heart and body betrayed her. One of the biggest factors was Masab blackmailing her by using Aurang's sister's name. Then things intensified when everyone acted nicely with her. She couldn't hate anyone related to the man who was making a place in her heart without any reason. And now she has become the best girl in Bi Jan's eyes. That was really so ridiculous and funny at the same time.
"They are beautiful, Bi Jan. Thank you so much for these," she murmured, and on her insistence, Andaleeb had to wear the bangles, and she wouldn't deny that they suited her.
Bi Jan gave her a lot of prayers and she was all left to stare at those bangles. Another thing that was bestowed on her is related to Masab Shah Alavi.

Her nights had been filled with that terror of that familiar voice and familiar words from that familiar face repeatedly. They made her whole body tremble. She couldn't figure out the background. Why was she hearing them again and again? Who was this person who wanted to take advantage of her against her will? Someone she trusted enough but he Was this some unknown fear or something else? Something from her illusion and hallucination maybe. Sometimes, she used to mask it, and sometimes, it became out of control as it did that night.
Andaleeb felt that she wasn't able to breathe as this had induced a panic in her. And when she couldn't hide her fear, her husband, who was lying near her, was the only one who could be there for her. He used to take her in his protective embrace and that soothed her.
This time, as well, when she sensed her eyes burning with tears, a warm and strong arm encircled her waist, and he pulled her closer to his chest. The warmth radiating through his body made her feel a bit calm but now she didn't want to overlook these signs which were telling her something. She didn't want to fight them. She had to think about it to conclude.
