He took a deep breath before standing back. Masab pulled the duvet over her, and it brought a smile over his lips, seeing her clenching the edges as soon as it reached her chest. He bent over and dropped a deep kiss on her forehead.
"Whatever happens, I want you to always remember that I love you," he whispered in her ear, truthfully.
The bells of danger and the arrival of something worse were really ringing near him, but he didn't care at all. He knew in what he was getting himself into when he joined this work. Here truths could be deemed as betrayals. Lies could be taken as honesty. Going against your cause could mean disloyalty. But the difference was the presence of this woman in his heart. He had vowed never to fall in love, and he did a deception to his work by loving Andaleeb.

In the morning, she woke up sensing a strange and mesmerizing touch in her hair. Andaleeb slowly opened her eyes and found Masab already woke up, intently gazing her way, and that was his fingers, which were running smoothly on her scalp. She was lying dangerously closer to him, and one of his arms was acting as a pillow under her head. While she had one of her arms encircled around his bare waist. It wouldn't be wrong to say that he was hugging her while she was sleeping. She always felt a sense of protection and warmth from him, so it wouldn't be wrong to think that either she had gone into his arms during any part of the night or he did it himself, and she couldn't resist.
He gave her a heartwarming smile. "How are you feeling now?"
She nodded, feeling it even unimportant to lie since she slept well after that incident. Either it was the effect of the tablet or Masab's kisses and hugs. However, she was able to rest properly. "I am okay now."
His hand shifted from her hair to her face as he leaned ahead and kissed her cheek and earlobe, making her shiver. He then nudged her chin for her to meet his gaze. "If you want to hate me, do that, but not at the cost of hurting yourself. If something is bothering you, I am always here for you."
She blinked, feeling touched by his words. Why did he have to do that? "I hate you very much. But that doesn't mean I am hurting myself in the process. I am not a fool or coward. You did wrong and you have to pay for it. Even if I lose, I won't let you become a winner as well. Whatever happened last night, don't consider it as my weakness. Even if you ruined me, I will ruin you as well."
Masab smirked, shoving his hand in the belt of her night suit and slowly loosening it. That was the only thing that was holding the two parts together. Her heart trembles on a thin line, seeing his heated gaze and clever fingers doing their work over her.
"Then ruin me," he mumbled, sensually, using the same belt to pull her more closer to him.
She batted her eyelashes. "Think again. When I ruin someone, then not even his bones are there for identification."
He laughed loudly, sucking her earlobe. She really did a dark comedy here and she didn't even know how apt it was. "I can't help but agree with it."
Andaleeb freed herself from his grip and some instant later, she came on top of him. She plopped her both hands over his chest before slamming her lips on his for a passionate kiss. This all should have acted as a game for her but why was his intimacy acting as a relief and comfort for her? As though only Masab could do this for her. Forgetting everything for a while, she just focused on the way their lips were in contact and the way their breaths were mingling. Masab's hand slowly started stroking her spine and she gasped in surprise.
He wanted to take the things further as he tried to roll them over but Andaleeb abruptly broke their kiss and pulled away. His eyes had a desire in them, and he seemed annoyed by her tease when she got out of bed.
"Andaleeb..." He grumbled as she disappeared into the washroom.
This girl would be the death of his. This fact was established to Andaleeb that he would not get bored with her as she expected considering he was only obsessed with her.

••|A Few Days Later|••
The days were passing, and sometimes Andaleeb couldn't even realize how far she had come. She couldn't even believe that how normal of a life she was living here. It didn't feel like she was not willing to this marriage, and this man had kidnapped her for the said reason. Her married life was looking like as though she really accepted Masab because she loved him.
They spent so many passionate moments together that no other memory passed through. She could never resist him despite how much she wanted. It felt like as though he was like a drug which was making her become addicted to him. He said that he would get her addicted to him, and he was right when he claimed that because that was what exactly happened to her. Andaleeb liked her very first thing to come with Masab. She loved their intimacy and moments together. Just this weekend, he took her shop and then dinner at night. And his love was slowly making a place in her heart. Now she couldn't deny the fact that she was really falling in love with him. Now Aurang was nowhere to be seen. Whenever she was with Masab, no other thought ever penetrated her mind.
Perhaps the basic reason why Andaleeb accepted him was how selfless and intense his love was and how she craved this love. How the way her father had broken her trust when she considered him to support her and how Masab had made her feel special and gave her the respect she deserved. And the truth was that she never was in love with Aurang and as Masab said, she was bound to come across the one she was meant to love by Allah. That was all the matter of fate and what Allah had written for us and this was proved by the way her life had changed.
However, whenever she recalled Aurang, it made her heart fill with havoc. It moved her whole world upside down. She felt guilt, humiliation, embarrassment, hurt, and fury for everyone else, including Masab. It caused her to have the urge to kill Masab while he was sleeping or while they were having their time together when he had so much trust in her.
Andaleeb could have overlooked and condoned everything he did if he had spared Aurang. But not now. Despite her attraction and love for Masab, she could never forgive him for this. She would get Aurang's revenge.
Despite what she anticipated, the women in this house were nice, sweet, and gentle, except Hoorain, who sometimes showed her childish jealousy. But that was also established that Masab was never interested in her, and he only loved her, so he never gave her any sweet hopes. Hoorain was young and struck by her crush. She would definitely get better with time and move on.
Shehwar Begum treated her with so much love, adoration, and respect that she sometimes couldn't believe that a prestigious woman like her would act like this with a girl her son had forced on them and worse, she was kidnapped by him. Masab's youngest sister, too, was gentle and friendly. She herself pushed Andaleeb to spend time with her.
While Bi Jan was all love. She was so affectionate that Andaleeb really started considering her as her late grandmother. Bi Jan loved reading, and Andaleeb shared the same interest; hence, they both talked about this topic often. She even sometimes had tea with her as well. Though Masab's father did seem distant but she gave it to him being a total stranger.
How normal and beautiful this life was going on, sometimes the girl in her who just wanted love wanted to settle here. Her husband loved her and he could sacrifice his life for her. He was so crazy for her that he had gone to every limit to bring her into his life. His family treated her with respect and love despite what past she had. She got her mother and sister with her. She had everything she could ask for and now she didn't seek anything.
Yet whenever Aurang came into her memory, everything shattered. Her want to take revenge grew faster, and that wish would almost bring dangerous tendencies in Andaleeb.
That was one of those evenings when Bi Jan had called her into her room after lunch.
"How's life going for you, beta?" She asked her.
