By now the sun is starting to creep down the sky. We must have spent more time at the park then I thought.

I direct Colton back towards the mountains knowing a small restaurant where we can eat outside and have the perfect view of the sun setting behind the mountains making them appear red. That's one thing I love about this place, all of the beauty the mountains bring.

We make it to the restaurant and while Colton parks the car Kacee and I go inside. Leaving the car seat in the car I choose to carry her instead. The place isn't well known by humans, mostly us wolfs. As soon as I step inside the person nods to me and leads me to a table on the back patio.

"Can you bring me a high chair and a human will be joining me. Thank you."

She returns with in seconds with a chair then quickly leaves again to guide Colton to us is my guess. While she's gone I set Kacee in the seat.

Once Colton appears and takes a seat a different lady comes to take our drinks.

"Wow, I never get service this fast," Colton says as he looks over the menu.

I just laugh, "the perks of being future alpha. The fact that you're in a wolf owned restaurant helps out also."

We order our meals then. We talk like we are old friends instead of old enemies. As we talk I feed Kacee some of her baby food while smells gross.

Starting tomorrow I'm going to start bringing bananas with us instead of baby food. Not only does it smell gross, but it also looks like vomit. Gross.

After getting our meals, we eat, taking our time to enjoy ourselves. I haven't been out like this in a while. It's nice to just get to act like a normal teenager. Well, other than the fact that I have a baby.

The dinner seems to go fast and before I know it Colton was paying the check. We argue about who is going to pay for a solid ten minutes. My reason is that I am going to be future leader, meaning he should just think of it as me trying to get to know my pack members better. I didn't want him to know just how much I wanted this to count as a date.

His reasoning is that he is the guy and he offered to take me out, so he should be the one to pay. I don't think it's the fact that he asked me to join him but the fact that if I pay it will hurt his ego.

Finally giving up the fight I agree to let him pay only if he lets me pay next time.

He smirks, "There's going to be a next time?" Ignoring him I grab Kacee and get to the car.

Once we arrive back at the pack house I go upstairs to get ready for bed. It is still pretty early to sleep but after the excitement of today I feel a good relaxing night would be good.
