"I love you in this breathtaking sight, but I am afraid that my family wouldn't want the only daughter-in-law of this family to dress this causally on the first day of her marriage." She was brought out of her thoughts on Masab's voice.

Andaleeb dropped her phone and gave him a hard look. He was eyeing with with admiration; no desire, no hungry look and no vagueness. That was pure adornment and love, which was reflected in his eyes.

Unknowingly, it made her recall that whenever she wore something revealing in front of Aurang, how his stare became hungry, as though he couldn't wait to devour her. At that time, when it enthralled her but now it made a shiver run down her spine. She never got this look from Aurang as the one in Masab's eyes.

Andaleeb's stare felt blessed at the sight of her handsome and tall husband in a brown three-piece suit with a cream-colored shirt. His hair was still slightly gone from his recent shower, but he looked breathtaking. Her gaze flew over to his chest and a vivid memory of last night and even from her shower ran in front of her when she saw these strong muscles and even touched them under her palm.

However, why did she feel a sense of familiarity from this memory? A calm and relaxed feel as though she attained something really pure and beautiful last night. Where was that pure desire that she wanted to feel for Masab because that was the only way for her to cope with her self-made situation? Desire was there but that wasn't the only thing.

She shrugged her shoulders as she sprayed perfume over herself. "I damn care about them. I do what makes me happy."

He walked near to her, his lips forming a slight smug. Though they were still swollen from her merciless biting from a while ago but he did a good job hiding the redness. "Just like last night you did something which makes you happy."

Andaleeb scowled at him. "Just like that, the douchebag in you did what made him happy, too, last night. And that was to fulfill your nasty desires for me."

He cupped the side of her face. "My love for you is very pure, Andaleeb. If I only desired you, none was stopping me from becoming the douchebag that you think me to be the same day I got you. I wouldn't have married you."

She slightly laughed, leaning away from his touch because that was very distracting. "Yes because you had a whole row waiting for you. Just like that cousin of yours who is so desperate for you. Didn't you feel ashamed of giving false promises to her? But no, you have nothing called shame in you."

Masab shoved his hands in his pants' pockets. "I never promised her about anything. Before I met you, I never had any intention to marry for love. But I also didn't give anyone any false hopes of marriage. Hoorain misunderstood the whole situation."

She wiggled her brows. "You must be enjoying that someone is so crazy for you. You should have stopped the poor girl before it was too late."

His hand reached over to her shoulder, as he played with its strap with his fingers, making her hiss. Their eyes met and a firework launched. "Do you enjoy that I am crazy for you? And by the way, why are you worrying about her so much? That's sympathy or are you feeling jealous that she wants your husband?"

She slapped away his hand and glared at him. "To the hell with you and that lover of yours. Even my jealousy has some class. Do whatever you want to do. I really don't care."

"You sure?" He inquired.

Andaleeb didn't say anything and seeing this, Masab continued by bringing his face closer to her. "See that. You are the only woman I ever love. You are the first woman I ever touched. You are the only woman I ever kissed and admired. And I pledge this onto my life that you will be the only woman to take this crown as well."

His words again did something to her heart, but once again, that thought came to her mind. He was a killer. And on top of all, he killed the man she was supposed to love. "One should take lying classes from you."

He gestured with his hand over her figure. "I won't mind you wearing this but for today, wear something eastern. Bi Jan wouldn't like seeing you like this as a new bride. There will be many relatives who would want to meet you. Rest, I'll talk to her."

She moved her hands in the air. "I won't change my dress. You can try anything you want. I won't become a showpiece of a very devoted and respected daughter-in-law, which your so-called relatives would praise. I won't change myself for you."

He held her soft hand. "I ain't asking you to change for me either, Andaleeb. I like you how are you. But there are certain things which are followed and practiced by my family. You are the part of my family now. You should also follow some norms. You yourself wanted the respect and status as my wife."

She blinked. "You really need to marry your Hoorain for this. I am not here to become your puppet, Masab. And one day, you yourself will give me freedom, and I am waiting for that day. I am feeling hungry right now, so I am going to the dining room. Have a nice day."

Andaleeb strolled out of the room, leaning him behind to stare at her back. She was stubborn, ferocious, and fiery. But why did her every act of rebellion pull him more towards her?

Love really messed up everything for him, but he likes things messier now.
