"Guess I'm not getting those snacks," Soobin lamented, making the others laugh.

After lunch, gym class awaited them, and today they were playing volleyball outside on the school's large, grassy field. The teams were quickly formed, with Yeonjun and Beomgyu on opposite sides. Naturally, this led to plenty of playful trash talk.

"You're going down, Jun!" Beomgyu called across the net, his eyes sparkling with excitement.

"Oh, it's on, Gyu," Yeonjun replied with a grin that promised he wasn't going to make it easy for him.

The game quickly became one of the most competitive matches they'd ever had, with Yeonjun diving dramatically to save balls, and Beomgyu jumping up with surprising agility to spike them back. Every time Beomgyu scored a point, he'd glance over at Yeonjun, sticking his tongue out playfully. Yeonjun, meanwhile, would pretend to sulk before making an exaggerated show of trying even harder.

"I told you, you're going down!" Beomgyu taunted with a teasing smile after scoring yet another point.

Yeonjun just shook his head with a laugh, jogging over to Beomgyu during a brief pause in the game. "You know, I'm letting you win, right?" he said, leaning in close, his eyes twinkling with mischief.

Beomgyu raised an eyebrow, clearly not buying it. "Oh, really?"

"Yep," Yeonjun replied smoothly, flashing his most charming smile. "Just because I like seeing you happy."

Beomgyu's heart skipped a beat at Yeonjun's words, but he quickly covered it up with a playful shove. "You're such a liar."

The game ended with Beomgyu's team narrowly winning, and Yeonjun dramatically fell to the ground, pretending to be defeated. Beomgyu jogged over to him, grinning widely.

"Told you," Beomgyu said with a smug look, leaning over Yeonjun.

"Fine, fine," Yeonjun conceded with a laugh. "You win this round."

After gym, their last class of the day was a relaxing review session, which left plenty of time for them to doodle in their notebooks and pass little notes back and forth. Each note was filled with inside jokes, silly drawings of each other, and even the occasional flirty message from Yeonjun, who never missed an opportunity to make Beomgyu blush.

By the time the final bell rang, signaling the end of the school day, both boys felt a sense of contentment. The day had been filled with so much laughter, lighthearted fun, and sweet moments that it was hard not to feel like they were on top of the world.

As they walked out of school together, fingers brushing against each other, Yeonjun smiled over at Beomgyu.

"Want to grab those snacks now?" Yeonjun asked, nudging him gently.

Beomgyu grinned, nodding. "Sure. But you're buying," he teased, flashing him a playful look.

"Deal," Yeonjun replied easily, pulling Beomgyu closer as they walked. "As long as I get to spend the rest of the day with you."

And with that, they headed off into the afternoon, the promise of more sweet moments waiting just around the corner.

As the two strolled away from the school, the sun hung low in the sky, casting a golden hue over everything. Yeonjun glanced over at Beomgyu, who was smiling softly, the light reflecting in his eyes. There was something so peaceful about this moment, and Yeonjun found himself wanting to savor every second.

They stopped by a small convenience store near the school to grab some snacks. Beomgyu picked out his favorites—some chips, candy, and a drink—while Yeonjun playfully complained about how Beomgyu was making him spend so much. But every time Beomgyu laughed or teased him back, Yeonjun couldn't help but smile, happy to see him so carefree.
