That was totally a consensual night from every angle.
"Just like this lock was a way to the key of this necklace, just like that patience was my key to you. I waited for you patiently and look what I got. You are claiming on your own that I am the only one who could have given you this level of bliss. You like what we are doing right now. Patience is a key. Patience is a sweet candy. Patience is a virtue and patience is my hell of a crime partner." She again heard his smug-filled reply in her head, which added more to her guilt.
"So your patience got rewarded. But I don't want to be patient. I want you. Give me what I need," she had said this to him fearlessly earning an earful of laugh from him.
"My sweetheart shouldn't wait for me that she should show patience regarding me. I am all for you," he had mumbled this and that was followed by an intense kiss.
Her tears were mixing with the water from the shower and her breaths were labored as she couldn't even understand how to cope up with all this.
Aurang's face came in front of her hazy grey vision. He seemed distressed and unhappy with her.
Even last night as well too he came in front of her eyes after she really gave her most worthy to Masab, taking this claim for forever from Aurang. She remembered him because she suddenly realized how much she messed up everything. She broke the promise she made to Aurang to always remain his no matter what happened. And that intensified her urge to make her suffer more.
"I sometimes can't believe that you finally became mine," Masab uttered, his voice heavy with a daze of their intimacy.
"Give me pain," she suddenly spoke, causing him to raise a brow.
"What?" He was confused.
"I want to get hurt. Give me pain," she rasped loudly.
He cupped her face; his eyes filled with the realization that she was again reminiscing about Aurang. "I can't do that."
She crashed her lips to his, raw and without any sweet moment before. That kiss really hurt her because she recalled Aurang during this. And then soon Masab lost his constraints as they saw another passionate moment together. However, the pain became sweet within no time. And this sweetness brought ecstasy to her before she could even realize it. All plans were really failing for Andaleeb.
She had always promised that he would be the only one she would ever love. She vowed to herself that she would find justice for his inhumane and illogical murder. But that wasn't like this. She just spent a night with his murderer; all willingly. How would she face him like this? She betrayed him. She betrayed the one she loved. She betrayed the guy who sacrificed his life for her.
Andaleeb hooked her fingers through her hair as she started crying hysterically. She crouched down as the shower cubicle now bombarded the water over her head but she didn't care. She should feel this discomfort. That was nothing in front of what she did with Aurang and what she did with herself.
She didn't know how much time she had sat under the shower like this when she heard the faint sound of the washroom door opening, and a shadow lurking near her. Footsteps sounded and stopped a few strides away from her.
"Andaleeb." That was Masab who asked this with anxiety. "What are you doing?"
"What's wrong?" He once again inquired, now patting her shoulder.
His touch evoked a longing in her and this increased her hatred for both him and her again. She slapped away his hand. Andaleeb lifted her head from the crook of her arms and stared at him with teary eyes. He became stunned seeing her. She looked so beautiful, gorgeous, and lovely yet feral with her slightly pink eyes and puffy nose.
"Leave me alone," she snarled.
Masab clenched his jaw. "I didn't bring you in my life to leave you."
She glared at him. "Whatever you wanted to have, you got it. Now get lost from here. Leave me on my own. And since your obsession must have gone down, now set me free."
He stared at him with tight-lipped silence for a while. "I was never obsessed with you. Believe me, I still want you against all odds. Because your body is solely isn't my need. You yourself is someone I need in my life."
She slammed her head against the titled walls twice. "I never wanted it. I never wanted this. Why did it happen?"
Masab sat in front of her, leaving her stunned. "You always remember him whenever you think that you are on the verge of humiliating your promises to yourself. You want to believe that I forced you because the reality that you want all this to happen is heart breaking for you. Right? Then think that I really forced you if that's what gives you peace. Because I can't see you heartbroken like this. I love you, Andaleeb, and I want to make you happy. I don't want to give you doubts like that. Just think that I didn't care for your resistance and went ahead with what I wanted to do. Look at these..." He pointed his finger at his bare chest which was studded with red scratch marks. "You attacked me in self-defense. You never wanted me to come near you. Your dress? I tore it because you were resisting. Think like that and you will find peace."
She couldn't find any words to say anything in reply. Masab stood back and turned off the shower. She suddenly felt a strange coldness seeping throughout her body at this. He walked over to the corner and grabbed a towel from the hanger before pushing it towards her.
"Here. Dry yourself," Masab told her.
Andaleeb took the towel from him without any second thought. "You can't become nice in my eyes by acting like this, Masab. I admit that I failed to carry on my revenge because my body betrayed me. But that doesn't mean I don't hate you. Even if everything that happened between us was consensual but I still hate you to bits. So drop this act. You must be happy over your victory and you should show it."
He gritted his brows. "What do you mean?"
She brushed her cheeks with the back of her palm as her eyes became red with so many emotions. "That's another way of yours to make me weak in my own eyes. But I am not weak, Masab. You made me happy that doesn't matter. What matters is that I liked it the most when I was with him. What will you do about that?"
Masab stormed towards her and pushed her towards the nearest wall. He hovered over her, his expression slowly tightening. "That's not possible. Last night you were undeniably only focused on me."
She clenched her teeth and hooked her arm around his neck. "Don't play this useless game with me. Don't make it seem like I did some sin and some crime and you are here to rectify it. If you made me yours, then own it without any second thought. Give me my status and respect."
"What do you want?" He inquired.
She smiled weirdly before pulling him more closer to her. Andaleeb quickly pushed the handle of the shower up, inflicting the water to pour on both of them. "I want you."
No affection. No emotions. No feelings. No kind of love. And no relationship. It was just a habit that was making her drunk. She just needed him for that. However, that was her only coping mechanism to think that she was hurting herself for betraying her loved ones and to really think that she hated Masab.
She placed her lips over his and soon he gave in. He was a man, after all, who wouldn't resist temptation for too long. When love got the physical completion and bliss once, it sprouted more.
