That somehow made her remember a familiar voice speaking to her in such a disgraced tone about giving herself to him because she was in a relationship. About how women like her dated behind their family's backs but when it came to men asking in return, they became saints. Once again this memory made her head ache more because despite how much she tried to recall who it was, she couldn't. It felt disjointed and hollow through and through. As though only this certain phase of her life before she decided to flee from her house and after she found herself in Masab's apartment, got erased altogether.

For now, Andaleeb decided not to talk further as this certain topic was giving her a headache because of the patch of loss of memory. Now, as she thought about it, she really didn't remember anything from the time she was with Aurang. There was no recall of any talk he did, what he looked like that day, where he took her, and how she got there. This made her curious whether she managed to go to Aurang or if Masab had already caught her before she could reach him.

However, she couldn't get to contemplate more on this or continue the argument with her new husband when the photographer arrived there, requesting to capture their photoshoots. Being with these annoying relatives and family of Masab increased the pain in her head. They seemed excited and happy by this supposedly early marriage of their only son. They treated her with affection and respect but Andaleeb was finding all of this as a drama and fabrication. They must be involved with their son in this game. Or maybe the support her father was going to provide for their political career was acting as butter for their behavior.

Andaleeb made no effort to correct her tight expressions and tone. She was not here to act as a good daughter-in-law. She was here for revenge and that too open revenge. No backstabbing or hiding behind in the good shoes to lay dirt over the others in return. She would openly and proudly get her retribution. Masab didn't say anything to her now. He was well aware that his family would be considering Andaleeb's behavior as natural and normal, coming from a girl who was forced into this marriage. She would need time and love to accept all this which he was sure the women of his family would like to give to her. Everything was in his control and he didn't fear Andaleeb spilling any truth to anyone. He would use any way to stop her and using her ex's sister for that was the perfect option.

However, right now, Masab just wanted to feel the charming effect of this woman who ruled his heart as his wife.

                         _______________

Masab had gone from the stage to talk to some of the high officials who came to attend their wedding, leaving her alone to sit there. And as she had nothing to do and no one to distract her, it made her remember Daneen again. In the bridal room, she asked her mother to let her talk to Daneen just once.

And what answer came from Fariha made Andaleeb thoughtful. Daneen and Mohid had gone to Europe for their honeymoon. And that was the particular reason why Daneen hadn't contacted her back after she accidentally heard Mohid on her phone. This time, Fariha was honest and said to her that Daneen really wanted to give her marriage a fair chance, and that was the reason she hadn't heard back from her sister. As her father said, Daneen might have been feeling a bit threatened by her sudden presence in her husband's life. However, as far as she knew, she and Mohid had no deep feelings for each other. They were just arranged in this marriage by their respective families.

Yet Daneen was right in her place. She wanted to adapt, she wanted to make efforts and she wanted to compromise. Andaleeb shouldn't become a hindrance in this. She had already made her suffer enough. Daneen's avoidance was justified. After losing everything, she didn't want to lose her mother and sister again. Once Daneen develops a cordial relationship with Mohid, maybe after hearing her story, she will develop a soft spot for Andaleeb.
