"Your bride is indeed very beautiful," his mother murmured, getting impressed when she saw her picture.

"Let me see too," his sister said impatiently and snatched the picture from her mother's hand. Her mouth fell open. "Woah. She is really so gorgeous. Your choice is nice, Bhai."

Masab just smiled and didn't say anything because he knew that would be their reaction. Andaleeb was indeed the most beautiful woman he had ever seen, and he could say it with full belief, considering he had traveled to so many countries as a spy.

That was happening just a few days ago from their marriage when, at his sister's distance, Masab had to show Andaleeb's pictures to his family.

The women in his house were also the purest ones, unaware of what bad and dark things the men did; one of these was the fact that he told his father about this marriage. They would give respect and love to the wife of their beloved son and brother to Andaleeb. He could rest assured in this regard.

"Yes, she is lovely, Masha Allah. But more than that, I want all of us to make her feel at home, giving her honor and reciprocating the same with us. She is the wife of the only son of this mansion, and we will cherish her, of course. But I want her to do the same. As being said that giving and gaining respect are two hand things," Bi Jan asserted, now as the picture reached her hand.

"You don't worry about that, Bi Jan. She'll do the same. But first, we need to make sure to give all of this to her, which we expect from her," Masab told her, taking a small sip of the tea.

His sister playfully poked his shoulder. "Bhai is already so smitten by Bhabi."

"But he is right," Bi Jan intruded. "Masab married her because he fell in love with her. She might be having some issues in accepting this marriage. We need to make her feel at home."

That made Masab thoughtful too. Handling Andaleeb wouldn't be easy. And regulating her behavior with his family would also be tacky. But he would think about all this later on. First, he just wanted to relish in the realization that Andaleeb was his and she was going to come to his house as his bride just in a few days.

The wedding was planned on a very big and high level. Many high officials and rich people were a part of it. None even recalled the fact that Andaleeb was kidnapped just a few months ago. What they remembered was that she became the wife of the heir of such a powerful family in the province.

Sitting in the bridal room as Andaleeb got the news that the groom's family had arrived, the storm, which was so ready to burst out of her, started blowing and rising up. She didn't know what to feel out of everything that was happening. People were congratulating her. Her intimate relatives and women who knew and remembered about her kidnapping were calling her lucky that she was able to get this fate after what happened to her. That was another thing none knew that her kidnapper was her groom. Some girls and women, though, were becoming jealous of the blessed life she was going to have after she splashed dirt over her and her family's faces.

A few minutes later, her mother entered and then she saw a glow over her face.

"They have arrived. I was worried about the nature and behavior of Shah's family but so far, the women seemed nice. I hope that they can treat you well. I wish that you could have a very good marital life, forgetting everything else," Fariha said, holding her hands.

Andaleeb gave a hurtful smile. "Don't worry about that, Mama. Your daughter hasn't become this weak that she can't stand for herself. Though Baba and her brothers wanted me to become weak because they wanted to gain worldly benefit from the tragedy that occurred to me, remember that I only accepted this marriage for you, for Daneen, and myself because living here made me feel odd and disgusting. As though I wouldn't be able to breathe properly if I stayed a few more minutes in between these people. And because I just realized that one should become both the hero and villain of their fight. I was a fool to think that my family would fight with me."

Fariha put a hand over her mouth to shut her mouth. "Don't say these things, Andaleeb. Anyone can hear. And remember my words; you are not going to take any revenge. You have to accept this life because you have no way out of it. Shah loves you, and that was maybe the only thing he could find to get you.
That doesn't mean he would be a bad guy. Don't make things difficult for yourself again. Just accept all this, Andaleeb. I beg you. I want your happiness."

She brooded. "Don't take away this right from me, Mama. Do you want me to live with a guy peacefully and give him happiness who literally kidnapped me and killed my happiness?"

"I don't want you to do that, Andaleeb. This is the order from your mother," Fariha stated, sternly. "You are not that same girl from the past. You have scars, humiliation, and stigma. That's the only way it can be lessened. Just hear what people are talking about you on this occasion. They are calling you lucky. Make this luck on your side now, Andaleeb. If he ruined your happiness and kidnapped you, you are getting a chance to force him to give you that status and happiness back. Use that."

"But Mama---"

She was interrupted when the door knocked, and who they didn't expect appeared. That was Masab's sister, probably, who was so excited to meet her. She was quite younger, her eyes the same greyish blue as Masab, and she looked adorable. Her eyes brightened seeing her. Fariha gestured for Andaleeb to loosen up her tight expression.

"May I come in?" She asked, biting her lower lip.

Fariha nodded. "Of course beta. Why need to ask."

She grinned as she walked inside. "I thought to meet Bhabi and say hello hi. I saw your picture and you are definitely more beautiful than in the pictures."

She made no effort to even bring a smile over her face. She didn't want to portray to be a happy and contended wife of that girl's brother at all. Her revenge should start and it should begin from here. She was in no way responsible for giving fake smiles and reactions to please these all.

Fariha noticed her lack of courtesy and glared at her to knock some sense in her. The girl's smile dropped seeing Andaleeb giving no reaction to her, not even a smile.

Fariha quickly decided to intrude. "You did the best thing to come here, beta. You yourself are so lovely. What do you do?"

"I study in school and ----" She started answering the random questions asked by Fariha, for now forgetting Andaleeb's cold behavior.

"I think so I should go now. Bye Aunt. Bye Bhabi. See you soon," the girl mumbled, waving her hand at them before leaving the bridal room.

After she was gone, Fariha scowled at her who was quietly nudging her nails with one another, clenching her jaw tightly. "Why did you do that?"

Andaleeb moved her hands in the air. "What do you want me to do, Mama? I can't pull off this good sister-in-law, good daughter-in-law, and good wife drama like this. So don't expect me to do that."

"Andaleeb!" Fariha panicked.

"Please, Mama!" She held her palm up to stop her. "I can't do that so don't force me. I accepted to go with this marriage and that should be enough for all of you."

Fariha didn't continue more than that. She knew that Andaleeb wouldn't agree more than what she wanted to. She wasn't Daneen, who could understand if one would force or coax her. She just wished that everything would turn out to be fine for both her daughters.

She came out of her thoughts when Andaleeb called her. "Mama please do one thing for me."

Fariha gritted her brows. "What?"

"Without telling this to Baba, confide with Dani about whatever happened to me. Ask her to forgive me and talk to me again. Baba wants me to lose her but I don't want to, Mama. Please do that for my sake," she whispered, tears started glistening in her eyes.

Fariha couldn't say anything in response because she didn't know how to. Now what should she say?
