Hoorain scrunched her nose. "Ask Taya Sayen, not me. Ask him that what his son did to your daughter. He ruined me, Mama."
Samiya cupped her face between her palms and wiped her cheeks, feeling altered by the choice of her words. What did Masab do with her?
"What are you saying, beta?" She coaxed her.
"He married another woman secretly, Mama. He ditched me. He won't marry me now," Hoorain murmured in between whimpers.
Samiya's eyes widened. "What are you saying?"
Hoorain nodded in a jerky way. "I am telling the truth, Mama. He just told me a while ago that I shouldn't wait for him. He never made any promises of marriage to me. And he held a secret nikkah with his mistress who pleased him."
Samiya clenched her teeth. "How can he do this? You were promised to him and your marriage was planned to happen next month. How can he marry someone else like this?"
Hoorain swallowed thickly. Hearing this, her eyes became puffy pink, and her lips were quivering. "He betrayed me, Mama. He betrayed me for that random character-less woman."
Samiya gripped her both hands. "You don't worry about that. I'll talk to your Baba Sayen. He will surely confront your Taya Sayen and ask him what his son is up to. We won't let injustice happen to you."
Hoorain cried again. "I just want Shah, Mama. I just want him. I love him and I can't live without him. Please, Mama, do something before it's too late. I'll die if I don't get Shah. That cheap seductress woman had snatched him from me. He is only mine. Right Mama?"
"Don't be like this, Hoor. First, let your Baba Sayen talk to all of them. You deserve the best, not a man who can't keep his promise," Samiya said, trying to make her understand.
"I don't need anyone else. I just need Shah. I love him. Why can't you understand this?" She yelled at the top of her lungs.
Samiya's jaw dropped. "Hoor--"
She quickly removed her mother's hands from her face. "I am telling you that if I don't get Shah, I will die. I just want him."
Before Samiya could tell this to Tassaduq Shah, she got to know that he was already brought into consideration of all this by his elder brother. It was revealed that this marriage was just political, and Masab only did it to please that rich billionaire for the alliance of the next election. However, Samiya didn't tell this reality to Hoorain, leaving her sulking and infuriating with this twisted information.
Samiya didn't want to see Hoorain as a second option for anyone, whatever the real thing was, it didn't matter. Masab should have been loyal enough to talk about these things with his family first before marrying secretly. He would never divorce that girl because she was someone who was there for the life of that peace treaty. Whoever Masab would marry later on would be called his second wife. Yet Samiya didn't want that fate for her daughter. She thought that Hoorain would become better after a few days but she was wrong to even think about this.

Tonight he is feeling surreal. A mission was accomplished, a privilege was attained and a secret was nurtured to see its revelation in the best form. He nudged the bedroom door and his eyes were delightful seeing someone whose presence here made him feel that way. However, those green orbs flashed with hatred at his sight but he didn't care about it. This was beyond any relationship or stubbornness that she was thinking.
When Masab first time saw her, he felt flowers blooming around, colorful lights igniting all around, and many fragrances and scents loaming all over. His heart beat at a different intensity for her and his soul felt a connection with her. And then, after nikkah, her tantalizing touch had given him so much happiness and solace beyond any physical aspect. That was like a key to unlock what was hidden behind that beautiful sculpture-like beauty of her. A key to seeing many doors to go inside and busy himself in praise of her mesmerizing beauty. To become a Romeo for her who would only find a relaxation in her remembrance.
And today marked the day when she would officially become his. She would get the respect, status, honor, and title of his wife from the society. At last, Masab became successful in protecting and cherishing her from the harsh secret that was so ready to haunt them. And he would keep on doing so till his death.
The wedding preparations were already in full swing, but now they changed from the former one as the bride was changed. The house was adorned with flowers and other decoration items. Girls were singing songs and drums were playing.
His own bedroom was decorated beautifully. Red and white roses hung over the bed and the walls, with some over the floor. A nice scent was hovering all around.
Masab was feeling the happiest. He always thought love was useless and crap, but after meeting Andaleeb, he realized that love was the only thing that mattered in this world. He learned to live life, not just pass it after he met her. He knew how to find small joys in between hard times as he reminisced about her. He loved everything about this life now because of her.
Hoorain was still sulking over this fact but he didn't pay heed to anything. He felt bad for her but he wasn't a reason and responsible for her happiness. After finding Andaleeb, he wanted to live a happy life. His mother and Bi Jan gave him prayers for a blessed future.
He chose an expensive and branded creamy white sherwani for this occasion. As Masab was getting ready, he looked at his reflection in the mirror
He suddenly remembered about one encounter between him and Andaleeb. That made him smile as he thought about her.
"You are mine, Andi." His eyes drink at the sight of the beauty being at such a close level to him.
"That's your credulity. You can own the whole world by your money or shrewdness but certainly not me," she snapped back.
"I don't need the whole world. I only want you and I will get you along with your heart."
She twisted her beautiful lips. "One day you will be defeated by your own actions. I'll laugh at you that day."
"I never get doomed. You know that Andi," he replied calmly.
"I should've left you to die that day," she furiously said.
"You didn't and that proved that you will never like my doom."
"One day I'll arrange your funeral myself." Her green eyes glowed like emeralds with anger.
"I'd love to get buried by the hands of the love of my life," he mumbled, grinning cheekily.
"Then wait for it. Maybe I'll really kill the hell out of you," she snarled.
Masab's smile became deeper thinking about her. That would be the first time when he wouldn't dislike getting weak and killed by someone. Because that someone would be the queen of his heart. He couldn't wait to see her again as his bride. Because she was his to be called only.
