"Just excuse them, Baba Sayen. I'll take full responsibility. You guys don't have to take any blame. It was done by me so I'll own it. You guys wanted to see me settle and I deserve to settle with my preferred woman. I never asked for any favor or anything more before ever in my life. But now I want to at least make this decision on my own. Am I wrong?" He inquired, looking at all of the family members.

Bi Jan sighed. "You aren't, beta. That's your right and we only agreed for Hoorain because you never raised your wish. But nikkah is a big thing, and one can't overlook it. She is your wife now and she deserves this status. But the way you did all this is not great, Masab."

"You know me Bi Jan. When someone evokes a liking in me, I can't sit down without claiming that as mine. The man she was going to get married to is her past now. But the only thing matters is that she is my wife now," he said, shrugging his shoulders.

Bi Jan narrowed her eyes at him. "Don't tell me you forced that family for marriage and that girl's consent wasn't involved in it? I didn't raise you with this thinking, Masab."

His jaw dropped. "What are you saying, Bi Jan? Don't you know your own Masab? Is that you think of your upbringing that I will use my strength and name on anyone? I just took her proposal to her father and he agreed to it wholeheartedly. He liked that proposal for her better than the earlier one. Andaleeb wasn't emotionally invested in that marriage anyway. That was also an arranged marriage for her. Do you really think that I can misconduct with a woman who is my wife at all? I'll take care of her."

His mother quickly mumbled. "Masab is right. He already married her and now she is our responsibility. Things can't be undone now."

"Exactly," he nodded. "Now I want all of you to properly meet her family. And then hold a wedding ceremony so that everyone can know that Andaleeb is my wife."

"Everything is fine but what about my brother? He would be devastated and angry at me," Alavi Shah complained thoughtfully.

"Hoorain deserves someone who likes her and I can't love anyone other than Andaleeb now. That should be a relief to Uncle," he confessed and one side of his lip curled up when he pinpointed exactly where to talk to his father.

That was why, after dinner, he went inside his father's study to talk to him and even discuss the biggest revelations and shocks to him.

A person like him would love the advantages very much.

"Sultan Ahmad?" His father, Alavi Shah, muttered out of the blue. "The same Sultan Ahmad from EN group of companies? One of our allies?"

"Yes, the same one. The one who is our collaborator in the new project. One of the companies that can be very useful for us to gain alliance in times of moving towards the election. They can lend us a helping hand and support in the election, Baba Sayen," he said, smirking.

His father reciprocated his look. "You are smart."

Masab laughed under his breath. "Of course, I am your son. I need to continue your legacy as your heir. And for this, I need better alliances and for now, Sultan Ahmad is the best one."

Alavi Shah put the book over the study table and stood up as he walked over to the window. "Do you think marriage will be beneficial in this that much?"

"Why wouldn't it be, Baba Sayen? We will have his daughter and he will have to support us in the election by making a party with us. With how big and strong the business he is, he can be of very use to us. This marriage will bring many advantages for us," Masab told him.

Sultan smiled sheepishly. "I can't believe you could be this far-sighted, Masab. I am so proud of you for taking your role so keenly."

"Don't mention that," he whispered.

Alavi Shah pondered about something before his brows puckered. "But why made it seem like love in front of your mother and grandmother?"

Masab folded his arms behind his back, his black shawl encircling his broad arms. "Women, Baba Sayen. They shouldn't know about all the dark things in our life. The love and obsession seems like a better option than this reality."

His father bobbed his head. "You are right."

The villain. He loved to play a villain of his own love story.
