"What am I supposed to do then?" She murmured, blankly.

For the first time, she felt blessed that she actually didn't succeed in marrying Aurang. Masab got her and now she would come across as someone who was wronged. It would lessen a bit of guilt she felt for her sister's fate. If she had appeared as a happily married couple with Aurang, it would have shattered her soul more to find her sister reaping what Andaleeb herself had sawn.

"You are now going to stay at your parents's place till I get my own family to accept our nikkah, which they will do eventually. Then they will come to your house, meet your parents and we'll get married in a proper ceremony. You got a promise from me to get the status, respect, and honor of my wife from everyone, and you'll ultimately get that," he informed her truthfully.

She narrowed her eyes at him. "What will you tell my parents about all this? And what am I supposed to inform them? And..." She trailed off when something hit her mind. She quickly looked back at him. "Don't tell me that you will put the total blame on me. That...that I fled from my house to marry you."

Her breath hitched when he snaked his arm over her waist. His warm and big hand clasped her bare back and Andaleeb felt tingling sensations all over. There was seriously something really wrong with what his touch and closeness made her feel.

"I am not a coward and fearful person who would ask a woman to leave whatever she had behind to marry me. I loved you openly. I married you openly too. And I'll make you get the status of my wife openly and fearlessly too. I ain't a scared loser who would hide myself behind a woman. I'll tell everyone the truth. I dare anyone to stand against me in it," he almost roared this.

Andaleeb didn't know why she liked whatever he spoke even though the route he opted for was so wrong, and he was directly dissing Aurang. However, the way she and Aurang took was also not right. Just because of that one mutual decision, she put everyone's life at stake.

The only way to lessen her guilt in front of her family would be to take full blame for Masab. Erasing Aurang totally from her life. Andaleeb knew she was being selfish, but what could she do in such circumstances? Aurang was dead and with it, their love as well. That love was what cost Daneen's life. What was the use of digging this grave? At least in this way, her sister wouldn't hate her as she did now. Her parents wouldn't feel disgusted and disappointed in her. She was the victim but she was also the sole culprit of her sister's destruction. This guy's ego would definitely lend her some benefit here.

Andaleeb's lip shot up in amusement at his words. What if he was really playing a game? But telling them about what he did with Aurang would prove bad for him because then he would have to be clear about where he disappeared. Her father was quite rich and influential, too. If Masab would make himself a hero by saying she actually left her house for Aurang, who would prove him wrong then? Everyone's focus would go to Aurang and she would become a stigma for real. "What if I tell them the truth? That I fled my wedding scene to marry Aurang and then you kidnapped me after killing him."

Tension rose in his body and his grip over her waist tightened. She could even feel the digging of his fingers in her flesh, which made many butterflies erupt in her stomach. He suddenly pushed her against the wall and grabbed both her wrists before pinning her arms against the same wall.

His eyes were shooting daggers at her when he spoke. "You aren't going to take this name in front of anyone now, Andaleeb. Understood?"

She jutted her chin out. "I didn't understand. Do you think I will hide your true face from my own family? That you are a killer and you kidnapped me?"

"Tell them the truth. I don't fear. Just take that guy out of your mind, heart, and thoughts. I won't bear it if I hear his name from your mouth," Masab snarled harshly in a low voice.

Who would tell her that apart from the obvious possessiveness that he felt for her and his dislike to hear another man's name from her, it was more about her? If she told anyone that she had any kind of relationship with Aurang, her parents would go to the police and other authorities. This case would reopen and it would prove to be not good for her. To save her reputation, for which he did, everything would be wasted. If for this, he would have to appear as a control freak and a jerk, he wouldn't push a step back.

She smirked. "He is in my every pore. Heart, mind, thoughts and everything. From where you will take him out? If I will tell everyone about him, what can you do then? Will you dig the grave of the truth too?"

Why did it feel like his face was more closer to her than before? Why did she sense that his eyes were going again and again towards her lips? And why the hell was she finding herself doing the same?

"You told me about her sister a few hours ago. Right? I will rather dig her grave just near to her brother if you open your mouth," he mumbled, harshly.

Her jaw dropped at what he said. Just a while ago, she heard her own sister's life getting ruined because of her, and now she couldn't even think about doing the same with Aurang's sister, who had no link to whatever had happened.

Andaleeb suddenly felt his clever finger over her chin which was so ready now to touch her lower lip. An electrifying sensation erupted in her every nerve ending at this contact. And this made her crave for his lips on a dangerous level. What the hell was happening to her? He just talked about killing a person and she wanted to kiss him? How twisted she had become by living with him?

When she lived in her parents' house, it was like a sweet dictatorship. As they were daughters, their parents had made everything like a golden cage for them due to their extra cautiousness towards them. Since childhood, everything was decided for them already before even they would raise their wish. What they had to do, how they had to act, what they had to study, what games they were allowed to play, and then what, at last, whom they had to marry. Her rebellious self had always lent her some liberty more than Daneen, but the last nail in the coffin was the realization that she was supposed to marry a man of her parent's choice when she was already in a relationship with Aurang.

For the first time, she felt a liberty to do what she wanted. At first, she had to think twice about what she wanted to do. Even the decision to date Aurang came with uncertainties. And all of a sudden, a weird and odd desire rose in her heart to kiss Masab. His touch and intimacy had revived so many peculiar emotions in her. She hated him but who could soothe and curtail that craving which he always brought in her? What kind of dangerous ride she was going to have?

Could hate and desire coexist? Maybe it did because right now she was exactly feeling this. Maybe there was no harm in seeing the living example of how much he desired her as he claimed.

His hot breath lurked over her mouth and she knew Masab wasn't thinking anything different than her. His eyes shone with desire for her and she was able to see it clearly. His breathing sped up and his finger lingered over her lower lip.  For some twisted reason, she liked to find him getting affected by her. Love or not, he was right when said he that he had gone against all odds to bring her into his life.

"You know what? You are a disgusting man with no morals. I expected this from you," she snapped at him.

Andaleeb, who was expecting him to just go with the flow and have a first real kiss, was surprised when he pulled away. Her beautiful eyes shimmering with disgruntled weren't something he wanted to see when he kissed her. Her telling him that she found him disgusting wasn't something he would want to hear while coming near her. Even if he had to die without feeling the bliss of a consensual marital relationship with her, he would do that happily by taking the secret of what happened with her in that hotel room with Aurang. His love for Andaleeb was pure, and it would be completed without any physical connection, too.

However, that was more of a shock and surprise for Masab when he almost saw a dream with open eyes. Before he could go away, Andaleeb had hooked her finger in his collar and pulled him near to her. He didn't get any chance to react when he felt her soft and hot lips over his.
