She pressed her lips together, again feeling a lack of warmth when he freed her both hands. "As if you are scared of it. I am not a fool to actually think that this will work out for me. You aren't a weak or raw player."

Masab smiled, snaking his arm around her waist, and pulled her closer. His hot fingers dug into her almost transparent silk night suit, and they made her feel so much that she chewed on the insides of her cheeks to stifle a groan.

"I am glad that, at least for the first time, you said anything in my praise," he asserted playfully.

She glared at him as she came out of his grip. But maybe as the thing had started, she should really ask him about Aurang. He would maybe confess everything in the flow. "What did you do with his dead body?"

"Dead bodies always go to the graveyard, Andaleeb," he enlightened her, shrugging his shoulders.

Suddenly, her eyes burnt with the incoming tears, and she felt a dire need to shoot this man standing in front of her. She made a fist of her fingers to control herself. "Didn't you feel a bit of shame? He was the only one of his sisters. Do you know what she would be going through? She doesn't even know about what happened to her brother. If you wanted me, then you could have gotten me without killing him too. Murdering him wasn't the only solution."

Masab's mind flashed over at the sister's mention. As an innocent girl, their team should really protect her irrespective of what her brother did.

"This discussion will not let me see anything, Andaleeb. I wanted you at any cost and I got you. And I don't want to hear that guy's name from your mouth again. Understand?" He said, angrily.

She hit his rock-hard chest with her palms, scowling at him. "He will come in between us. His thoughts will never leave me. What will you do then? Huh? Will you kill me, too, because my heart still belongs to him?"

He once again held her hands and pressed her near to his body. All the anger flew away when she felt him so near to her. Andaleeb stared at his face with widened eyes, and a peculiar wish arose in her heart when her gaze locked at his lips. That was to once again kiss him. She wanted him to touch her and kiss her so hard that she would really forget about Aurang. Because whenever she recalled him, it made so many weird revelations to dawn upon her.

One of them was she might have perhaps grown out of love for him. Maybe the love was slowly dying or possibly she never loved him. Her decision to leave her family for Aurang wasn't out of love. It was because of her feral and rebellious nature got hit by her father's imposed order to marry the man of his choice. And whatever she felt whenever Aurang came between her and Masab was the anger and betrayal. And it always did the worst with her because it made her guilty of her totally transparent feelings for this guy who had forcefully brought her into his life. In normal state, whenever she felt a need for his intimacy, she always gave it to her game to make him defeated. But in fury, it became clear that it was beyond that. She really wanted him against all odds.

Andaleeb came out of her thoughts when she felt his hot breath over the skin of her ear. "One day it will only be me and you. You will crave for me and your heart will beat for me. I swear, Andaleeb if it doesn't happen, I will not let you see my face the other moment. Death is better than a life without getting your love. And I will always stand by my words."

Andaleeb swallowed hard, looking around as she tried to abate the dangerous feelings arising in her. "I hate you, Masab. Did you hear that? I can never fall in love with you. So it's better if you make arrangements for your deathbed. Let me also see a perfect example of a lover dying due to love if you are that true to your words."

A shadow lurked in front of his eyes, but he covered it with a heart-wrenching smile. Who would tell her that he didn't become obsessed with her in a toxic way. He prayed for her companionship in prayers and asked her from Allah. Masab took a step back when he realized that she was going to marry someone else. It was only fate that brought them together again. But he considered himself so unlucky that he had to pose as a bad man because he didn't want the woman he loved to fall into any problem.
