It wasn't true.

After what felt like an eternity, finally the owner of the long arm appeared. It was Green himself, adorning the glasses that had once been his freedom, and were now his prison.

And Green was also in his Predator Form, his fur was dark and his long forked tongue flicked in and out, like a snake. His glasses looked like they were also sparking, preventing Blue from seeing past the glitchy haze.

No.

Blue suddenly felt sick, as if he wanted to throw up. He felt weak. It couldn't be true. Not like this.

This was it, they were trapped. And it was at the hands of their friends.

"No...Green." He sobbed, now falling to his knees in despair. He couldn't fight Green. He would never forgive himself.

He had failed.

He had failed Green, he had failed Orange, and he had failed himself.

As Green stepped closer, as did Yellow, they both closed in, sharp teeth glinting in the dim light and eyes darkening with each passing moment. The room almost seemed to grow colder as they loomed over him.

With his hope drained, Blue couldn't make himself fight back. Not against his friends.

Blue prepared himself for the worst, feeling tears slide down his cheek uncontrollably. He thought about everything that he had dreamed of, now about to be thrown out like it was nothing.

His hopes of seeing his friends genuinely smile, something that he hadn't truly seen in years. His hopes of ever finding his family, of not being alone.

But as Blue continued to fall deeper into despair, he suddenly realized, nothing was happening.

He felt himself being dragged out of his own pool of regrets. As Blue looked up, he saw that the two controlled Rainbow Friends had stopped, and were simply staring at them.

Why...why weren't they finishing him off? Predator Forms only killed. So why wasn't he dead yet?

And then Green stepped to the side, allowing Blue to see past his massive frame. Light from the other room filtered over, causing Blue to shield his eyes as he squinted, trying to ignore Green staring straight in his direction.

Blue and Purple, who was still beside him, both gasped.

Standing just behind the other two Rainbow Friends was a figure in the doorway. The light behind them made their silhouette hazy and dark at first, but as Blue's eyes adjusted, he saw exactly who it was.

He gritted his teeth, looking up from where he kneeled on the ground. "Red..." He growled with hatred.

At first, Red remained silent, as if taunting Blue or Purple to say more. But he stayed still, daring Red to come forward.

After a moment, Red squinted his eyes, then finally took a step forwards into the room, although the light behind him still served to make him look intimidating.

Normally, Blue wouldn't have taken him seriously. With his short height, massive eyes, and comically bright color, he had known Red to be the weakest Rainbow Friend, even with his intelligence.

Red was the true leader of the Rainbow Friends. The planner, the idea-maker.

At least, that's what Blue had assumed. But now...after everything that Orange had told him. After seeing Red treat Green like this...Blue knew that Red could not remain leader.

Because while Blue may have been a king...Red was a tyrant.

Blue stood up slowly, still paying attention to Yellow and Green who were surrounding him. Just then, Another shape appeared behind Red, big and growling.
