Their hopes were completely crushed, however, as Yellow stood up with the same dark look in his eyes, as his skin turned to a grayer shade. It was now obvious. Yellow had also succumbed to the same fate as Green.

Would this also be their fate?

Blue shook his head, shaking Purple off as he readied to defend himself.

Blue had always been stronger than Yellow, but now that the once-sweet monster was in his Predator Form, Blue suddenly wasn't so sure that he could take him on.

Yellow let out a blood-curdling shriek as he reared his head back and charged straight for Blue, opening his mouth full of sharp teeth and flailing his wings.

Blue yelped in surprise, catching Yellow by the beak just before his face was impaled. He struggled to hold Yellow backwards, as the latter's Predator Form had for sure given Yellow a lot of extra strength.

He could feel his grip slipping, as he continued to hold firm. He knew that he would have to let go soon, or else he might lose his other eye.

Blue, with a burst of unusual speed, quickly let go of Yellow and darted to the side, just barely avoiding getting caught in between the other Rainbow Friend and a wall.

He didn't want to hurt his friend, but they would have to get past him if they wanted to find Red.

Before Blue even knew it, Yellow had recovered and had turned back towards them, already running straight for the two.

Blue tried to move out of the way again, but Yellow caught up to him and clamped down firmly on his arm. Blue roared in pain as he felt Yellow's teeth sink into his thick flesh. His vision flashed in pain for a brief second, before finally clearing.

He tried to free himself, but Yellow had him struck. As he struggled, he howled as he couldn't escape the pain.

It wasn't supposed to go like this. Why was this happening?! Why would Red do this to him?!

Even after everything, Blue still felt a leftover sense of betrayal. He had put his trust in Red for many years, even more so after Red finally gave Green the ability to see.

To have Red willingly bring harm to him and his friends, it made him genuinely angry.

He whipped around to look at Yellow. "I'm sorry about this, but Red must be stopped." He muttered before pulling his other arm backwards, into the air.

Blue closed his eyes, and then opened them, letting out a loud roar as he brought his fist down right onto Yellow's face, hard.

The other Rainbow Friend pitched backwards, clutching at his eyes and groaning in pain as he let go of Blue's arm. Blue couldn't help but feel guilty for having to hurt his friend who was already in great pain.

Blue took the moment he had gained to quickly move back over to Purple. Purple had been frozen and hadn't moved at all since Yellow had charged at them.

"Purple! You've got to help me!" He growled, standing in front of Purple as Yellow finally managed to clear his vision and was now slowly walking towards them, as if hunting them.

Purple inhaled to respond, but both of them were cut off by loud thumping coming from the doorway. Blue froze in horror as he heard ear-splitting, eerie squeaks echoing off of the walls.

A large green hand appeared through the doorway, followed by a long arm snaking around the corner. Suddenly, the world seemed to slow down.

Blue could only hope and pray that it wouldn't be what he thought it was. It couldn't be. It couldn't.
