God, he was doomed.
The bathroom door clicked and then he sensed her faint footsteps. Masab shot open his eyes and shifted his stare in that direction without moving his head. And what he found was enough for the stupor he was in to get more and more high.
The girl who was his in every way possible but he couldn't get her was there, ready to instigate him so that she would celebrate her victory by bringing the monster inside him out as she thought he was, by looking like this. She was wearing a silk chocolate-colored night suit, which attenuated her gorgeous body all at the right places with the cropped gown. A smile came across her red lips as she stepped over to him.
He had to shake his head to come out of this trance as he straightened. It was true he wouldn't be a human to not get affected by this, but when he loved her, he wanted her to relish his nearness, not the other way around.
"You can use the bed. I'll sleep on the couch. I also have to do some office work for a while. We'll talk tomorrow," he told her, grabbing his laptop.
The work wasn't the lie here. Masab really had to send the progress of the new mission to his Boss. But of course, he could have done it some other day as well. However, to resist his wife, he had to busy himself somewhere when even sleep wouldn't let him get out of her thoughts.
Her smile changed into a small smirk as she approached him and sat beside him on the sofa. His gaze wandered over her bare ankles and calves before moving all the way up to her face as the colors changed in his eyes.
"You didn't give me my wedding present, Masab," she complained, crossing her legs gracefully.
He loved every time her cute lips said his name like this. He shrugged his shoulders. "That's not our wedding night. I never intended to bring you to my room after nikkah. You will get your wedding present on our wedding night. After the proper wedding ceremony in front of our families."
A shiver ran down her spine at his words. That shiver wasn't out of any fear. It was something else. She wanted to let him become off guard but in response, he caused her to feel that day.
She placed her thumb and index finger under her chin. "Will you give me my desired thing as my present?"
Masab raised a brow. "What's that?"
Andaleeb grinned. "You will get to know at the right time." She looked around and then grabbed his cup of coffee which was still quite untouched. She attached her lips to the rim of the cup, making Masab caught by surprise. "Never mind. Tomorrow are you going to let me meet my family? Right?"
Masab nodded, still stunned by her behavior as she just took a sip from the cup from which he was drinking the coffee earlier. The way her red lips left their impression on the rim, made him restless. "As promised, yes, but this...." He gestured at the cup in her hand. "That was mine."
She blinked in satisfaction. "So what? As per your claims, you are also mine. No?"
Masab groaned at the back of his throat before taking the cup from him. He smirked. "Want some coffee?" Before she could say anything, he took a generous sip and again regarded her. "Come and have it."
She remained quiet, still absorbing how the string of game he quickly snatched from her hand and snatched in his. What he wanted to do even made her heart flutter hard, too.
Every sane thought left his mind when he found her leaning closer to him. Masab thought that this provocation would make her back off but the insanity reached the highest level when he felt soft and alluring lips over his mouth. Andaleeb placed her both palms over his chest as she pressed her lips deeply onto his. Their eyes again met and she knew that he had resisted an urge to deepen the kiss.
