It's been a few days since the whole thing with Quan and I been at home since, tryna get myself together and allat. The only people I talk to is Keon, Riah and surprisingly Jasper.
But today I decided it's time to continue to live my life. I got up from bed and went to do my hygiene.
I went to my closet,and decided on a brown fitted sleeveless gown with black fur slides. I made sure my braids looked good then I grabbed my keys and went to Jasper's house cus I had to pick Riah up.
The ride there I was just thinking bout lot of shit and I decided it was time I leave the shell I built for myself,to live my life to the fullest cus like they always say,you only live once.
I pulled up to Jasper's house and got down. I went to the door and rang the doorbell "Coming" I heard.
Soon the door opened and it was Jasper "Wassup,you look good today" he said closing the door after I walked in "Thank you, where's Riah" I asked "She's in her room" he said laughing "What did you do" I asked going upstairs and he followed "I ain't do shit" he replied "Mummy!" Riah said seeing me then she ran to me and I picked her up "How are you mama's baby" I cooed "I'm fine and daddy was being mean"she said "Well, what did daddy do" I asked "He didn't wanna let me cook"she said and I couldn't help but laugh "Daddy was only looking out for you,he wasn't being mean" I said "Fine" she said.
"I'll see you later" I said "You know shit don't have to be weird right" Jas said "I guess"I said "And hugging ain't a crime" he said and I shook my head "Baby steps Jas" I said and he smirked "Baby steps ma" he said and I left then put Riah in her car seat then went to my side and drove to Jah's house since that's like our usual spot .
I pulled up to his house and saw the others cars there so I found space and parked, then got down and brought Riah out. I led us to the front door and rang the doorbell.
The door was opened and it was Zori "Bitch, thought you forget bout us" she said hugging me "Ri baby"she said picking Riah up "Hi tt Zozo" she said "You know, Quan's here with Raquel" she said "Girl I on't care" I said walking in and closing the door.
"Wassup bitches and niggas" I said entering the living room "Bitch" the girls said hugging me "Finally, best, missed you" Mani said hugging me then Siah and Jah.
I sat next to Zori while Riah was telling em bout everything she been doing lately.
"Could you stop talking" I heard causing me to look up and I knew it was Raquel "Don't speak to my baby" the fam said together causing us to laugh "Well she annoying"Raquel said "You not gon say anything" Siah asked looking at Quan who just shrugged.
"Now,miss lady,my mama taught me to have respect for my elders but you on a whole other level,now don't interrupt me again,as I was saying tt's and uncs before miss lady interrupted" Riah said and we all busy out laughing "Her ass got told off by a four year old😭" Jah said causing us to continue laughing.
"I see you raising a brat, like I said before,offer still stands,I can be a better mom to her" Raquel said and we was bout to say something but Riah beat is to it. "My mommy's not raising a brat,but I can't say the same for your momma,now pls don't speak to me or my mommy" Riah said and we were all shocked "That's my baby right there" I said causing the fam to look at me "She should be happy it wasn't me that said it" I said and they all laughed.
We all got talking while Quan and Raquel sat there all bitter and shit.
"Aye Nev, when you planning on giving her up"Quan asked and we all looked at him cus the fuck "Nigga,the fuck's wrong with you" Mani said "Just saying or what y'all think she gon keep her much longer" Quan said "My baby's right,she probably gon give her up to continue her slutty ways,I mean she tried it with Quan and failed" Raquel said "Nah nigga you both gotta get the fuck out" Jah said "When you wanna give her up,have the heart and actually put in the system and not on the streets" Quan said "Nigga cus yo mama decided to fuck you on't mean I'mma do the same to my child,cus yh I was young but I wanted my child,yo mama didn't want you then and she on't want you now,so go stick yo pussy ass somewhere else" I said and everyone was looking at me and Mari blocked Riah's ears.
"You gon regret this shit" he said standing up "Nigga fuck off"Siah said "And take your nasty ass bitch with you" Yas said.
The two left and we all looked at each other before laughing.
"You did good Riah, but next time have some respect"I said "Mommy I'm a sweet child but they stepped on my feet,and nobody steps on a princess's feet"she said "Period" the girls said and the guys just shook their heads.
"You aiit though Nev" Siah asked "Yh,I'm fine" I said "That nigga crazy so always watch your back" Jah said "And I know he finna use the streets" Mani said "I ain't scared of that nigga" I said.
We talked watched some movies then we left to go do our own shit.
I got home and helped Riah with some if our homework and we listened to Keon's first EP and that shit ate andeft no crumbs.
I decided to tell Jasper bout what happened,cus if there's one thing bout the streets is that they don't give a fuck what happens as far as they get who or what they want and Jasper told me we gon talk bout it later.
And I did the necessary things then slept off after making sure my security alarm was on.
