I know I'm a dickhead and all but I guess I realise shit now.
What happened was Nev and I grew up together,we were next door neighbors and we were the best if friends, we'd have sleepovers together,yh on't let that shit sound gay 😂, we'd spend hours at the park, she'd always wait for me in her driveway when it was time for me to come back from school cus she wasn't old enough to go to school yet.
We'd bake and cook with our moms all the time and I always made sure and promised to take care of her especially when her parents died.
Then we started messing around,then one night we went for a party,we got drunk and she got pregnant, at the time I wasn't ready to be a father so I just let her go through allat shit on her own,I didn't think once bout looking back,no matter how many times my parents forced and told me to.
Now, 4 yrs later I regret that decision everyday,cus not only did I loose my best friend,I also lost the person I love.
I was brought outta my thoughts by the doorbell,I gently removed her hands and made sure she was comfortable before going to answer it. I checked the cam shit and saw it was Keon and Riah.
"Hi princess" I said carrying Riah "Hi daddy,me and bubba had so much fun"she said "Wassup,you look stressed" I said to Keon "Yh,been tryna reach Nev but they been going to voicemail and her friends on't know where she is"he said "She's here" I said "What" he asked "Sum happened,she came here crying but she asleep now" I replied "Thank you for looking out for her"he said "I'll be over tomorrow,got sum to take care of" he said dapping me up "Aiit,stay safe" I said and he nodded then left.
"Daddy what happened to mommy" Riah asked "She's just tired and stressed but she's resting right now" I said "Can I go rest with her"she asked putting her thumb in her mouth "Aiit"I said then went upstairs and put her in my bed beside Nev then took of her shoes and got a wet towel and used it to clean her face then took it back to the bathroom and laid next to them.
Next morning...
Nevaeh's POV
August 28th
I felt like using the toilet so I woke up and used it then looked in the mirror and saw my eyes were red and shit then all the shit from yesterday started replaying so I poured some water on my face and looked around the bathroom and realized it wasn't my bathroom.
I went back to the room and saw Jasper and Riah still asleep.
I sighed then when to Jasper's closet and brought out a graphic tee with sweatpants,then I went to the bathroom and looked through the cabinets and brought out some new shit.
I took care of my hygiene and put on the clothes, having to fold the waistband of the sweatpants couple of times.
I grabbed my phone from one of the bed side tables then went to the balcony.
I sad on one of the chairs and water dropped on the sweatpants and I realized I was crying,I cleaned my tears then put my phone on and bunch of notifications and allat shit started coming in.
I waited till they were done and started going through then,some was about business while the others were from the fam and Keon.
I read some of them and they was asking where I was cus they went to my place and I wasn't there,bunck if missed calls and all.
I put my phone down and ran my hands through my braids.
"You good" I heard and I looked up and saw Jasper "I'm fine, sorry for coming uninvited and taking your clothes" I said "You aiit, wanna talk bout it" he asked leaning on the door "Played once again,but I mean it's nothing I haven't gone through before"I replied and I saw it hurt him but I just scratched it "Sorry bout that" he said "It's aiit, I'll be fine" I said "I'mma get outta your hair now,see you on Sunday" I said getting up from the chair and grabbing my phone.
"You can stay for breakfast" he said "Sure Riah would like that" he added "Ok" I said then went back to the main room.
Riah woke up a while later and Jasper took care of his hygiene while I helped Riah,then I made breakfast and we ate with Riah telling us how yesterday went with Keon.
Then I had to leave cus I had heads to make.
I didn't get on my phone though cus I just wasn't ready yet.
Keon came home and I told him what happened and he was pissed but I had to convince him not to do any dumb shit.
We watched a movie and I on't know what happened next, guess I feel asleep 😂.
