"Overconfidence is a loss. Even if I die, I'd make sure to make you ache for me before that, sweetheart. You will crave me. After all, lovers take regard when they die for the one they love," he murmured in a husky voice before straightening himself.

Andaleeb felt that suddenly a cool shadow had made its way away from her when he moved to the other side. The breath which she was holding for so long, came out of her mouth. Why did everything with him feel good? Even her hand felt at a loss when his hand separated from her. That was dangerous.

"You girls can fall in love, date, go alone anywhere, and flee from your house for a guy but you can't trust a man enough to let him touch you? What kind of love is this? We will get married. What difference will it make if I claim you as mine before the actual three I do words? After all, it's going to be who will get to touch your body afterward too."

(A/N: For clarity, above line was said to her by Aurang when he was made her eat drugged food. Andaleeb doesn't remember clearly that who said this to her or even this line was actually refered to her or she just heard it somewhere in movie etc because of the effect of the medication which Aurang gave her)

Somewhere at the back of her mind, a familiar voice reverberated but she couldn't make an exact sense of where she heard it. But after this encounter with Masab, she did recall this on her own. He was her kidnapper; he wanted to possess her, and now he was her husband. Yet he wasn't going to touch her against her will. What kind of twisted world did she stick herself into? She wished she hadn't left her hotel room when Daneen had gone to meet their Aunt's family alone back in New York. That day brought her doom and led her to this.

"I will never fall in love with you. I will never find your touch good. Remember it with your heart and if necessary, jot it down somewhere. Make a portrait out of it and hang it on the wall of your beautiful bedroom so that you can read it whenever the truth needs to be told to you. When you get tired of the fake persona of a true lover, give me freedom and marry another woman who will be a perfect wife for you," Andaleeb gave him a free-of-cost suggestion with a bone-chilling smile.

"It's only you for me. If not you, then no no else. And you aren't going to refer to yourself like this again. Don't try to push me to disrespect you again because I will never do that. I respect you, and I won't even allow you to disrespect yourself like this," he mumbled with a stern expression.

She huffed and then chuckled. "I'd love to see this mask slowly slipping out of your face. This fake gentleman becomes the beast and the monster which he actually is. The claims of your love only get ruined by your obsession and playboy nature. The monster in you would get tired of waiting for that claim and then comes your true face. And that real face of yours will come in front of everyone. And that will be my victory."

He first kept on looking at her without saying anything before he plopped his one hand in his pocket and gritted his brows. "Let's wait and watch this together then."

She scowled at him before standing up. "You know what Masab? The real reason why I hate you more is because you are two-faced. You are a disgusting man in reality, but you want everyone to think of you as a good man. But I know your true nature very well, and I will let the whole world know what kind of a person you are."

He snaked one arm around her waist and pulled her closer to him. Her both hands landed on his hard chest. Andaleeb's eyes widened at this, and once again, her heart beat at a different intensity.

"I won't correct you about this, right now, sweat heart. I would let my love speak for myself," he spoke, truthfully.

The door of their bedroom knocked, and he left her waist, giving her a knowing look. She took this time glaring at him and then finally marched towards the washroom, holding her irksome lehenga in both hands. Andaleeb banged the door of the bathroom harshly, and here, the poor Nina who brought the coffee for him almost jumped out of shock. Nina exchanged a look with Masab who gestured with his eye to her to leave.

As he took the cup of the much-needed coffee after this intense banter with his newly wedded bride, his eyes again went over to the closed door. Masab sat on the sofa while staring at the view of the big swimming pool through the window, all of his senses were only focused on her. He drank a small sip, feeling much better and focused because of the delicious, hot coffee. This was just so difficult for him. His beautiful wife was so close to him, and his desire for her was present there too, but he had to keep a distance for her sake.

How far had he come in this dangerous ride? He who never thought about love just married someone because of love. He never even found any of his missions more difficult than this new task of winning over his gorgeous but fierce bride. He was still in his thoughts when he heard a loud shriek from the bathroom.

That was Andaleeb.
