Orange could hardly believe it, if Red had used Green's glasses to shock him, then it meant that-
Blue seemed to reach the same conclusion, "You mean that lying bastard gave Green those things on purpose to control him?! You mean that he didn't actually care if Green could see?! That he just used it as a fucking excuse to remain in control?!"
Purple was silent for a moment, and then ducked his head, nodding ever so slightly.
While Orange wanted to say that he was shocked, he couldn't bring himself to feel much surprise at that, especially after Red had given him a shock collar for the same reason.
Orange winced as Blue stood up with a loud growl. "I'm going to kill him."
Elise cleared her throat from where she sat, disrupting Blue's ranting. Purple, Orange, and Blue all looked over at her, waiting to see what she had to say.
Elise clutched her Lookie tight, looking up at the three monsters who had tried to kill her only last night.
"If it's true that Red can force your friend to do things, then couldn't it be the same for the others? For you guys too? What if he just controls all the others, or even you, without even having to lift a finger?" She said.
Orange thought about that, realizing what she was saying. He was still stuck in this collar, and the other Rainbow Friends could also have secret rigs somewhere on them.
"You're right. We'll never be able to take Red out while he has control like this. We need to find a way to...break the control."
Elise nodded, and Orange leaned forwards, trying to think of a way to do that.
Purple then spoke up, "Maybe there's some sort of central control unit? Or a source of power in the facility? If we could turn it off, maybe we could finally take on Red and save everyone."
Orange frowned at that, "But where? I didn't see anything like that in his Lab while I was there." He pointed out.
Elise, Purple, and Orange all fell into an awkward silence as they tried to think of anything that could give them a clue into where it was.
"Maybe he has a secret room somewhere?" Orange asked, "He was gone when I woke up in his lab, and I didn't see anything suspicious inside, which is odd because he's been really busy lately."
Purple didn't respond at first, seemingly lost in thought as he racked his brain. "It's possible, but where would it even be?"
Orange looked at Elise, wondering if she had seen anything, but she shrugged helplessly. He also had no clue as to where it could be.
Then suddenly, Blue, who had been quiet the entire time since Green was mentioned, spoke up.
"Guys...I think I know where it could be."
Orange turned towards him with surprise, as did Purple and Elise. The Lookie also squeaked with excitement, as if it could still understand what was happening.
Blue was facing away from them, seemingly just staring at the ground.
"Earlier, I noticed something...it was just after Cyan and I went to talk to you in your cave when you accidentally bit her tail." he said, to which Orange felt himself get pulled back to that memory.
That felt so long ago...when all of this had started.
Blue continued to say, "I was in my castle when I noticed something. There was some writing on the wall written in red, and there was...something else too. The wall was slightly browner than the rest of my wall. It looked like a plank or something that could be moved."
Blue turned around to look at the others, "But I couldn't open it because I don't have fingers..." Blue trailed off, seeming embarrassed.
However, he quickly pulled himself together and continued. "I was then distracted by Green, I remember. Do you think that could be it?" he asked.
Orange suddenly felt hope spark up inside him. It seemed promising enough, "Yes, Blue! That sounds like it could be it!" He said, feeling a rush of joy, something that had become rare for him recently.
Elise and Purple also seemed to perk up at the mention of it. "All we have to do is sneak in and find the power source, and then we can sort everything out!" Orange cried.
Elise smiled as Orange stood up excitedly.
Finally, they had a plan, and they had a fighting chance.
Maybe change wasn't as far away as he had thought.
