As Alfred dragged Kiku through the hospital, he decided that he was too slow and simply carried him over his shoulder and continued to run. Damn that nurse was fast.

Thankfully, Kiku gave up fighting a while ago and just hung there accepting his fate, allowing Alfred to run faster.

They finally reached Matthew's room and he could see Francis and Arthur had already arrived and they both outside, with worried expressions. Francis kept pacing around the hall as Arthur fidgeted in the seat outside the room.

When Alfred arrived to the door, he immediately began to ask questions.

"Why are you guys out here? Can't we go see Mattie? What's wrong? He's okay though right? Wait, is he even awake?!"

"Yes, lad." his father said, almost at the edge of tears, "He is awake and alright, except..."

"Except what?!"

"He has amnesia."

At these words Arthur began to let a few tears down his face and Francis leaned against the wall, burying his face into his hands.

"Wait, what's amnesia-"

"Amnesia is when you cannot remember many things or anything, actually.

Head injuries that cause a concussion, whether from a car accident, can lead to confusion and problems remembering things. This is common in the process of recovery.

There are actually a couple types of amnesia, but I won't go into that since I can tell by the silence that you probably didn't understand half of the words that came out of my mouth anyway."

Everyone's attention had suddenly been pulled to the small Japanese boy that was still over Alfred's shoulder.

"Oh Keeks... I forgot you were there.."

"I could see that." he said, "Now if you don't mind, do you want to put me down?"

"Okay, yeah...... Sorry...." Alfred put the Kiku back in the ground. "thank you for the information Kiku."

"No problem, I read it in a book once."

"Ah, yes, well um, thank you Kiku." Arthur said, almost even more nervous than before. "Once the doctor calls us, we can go in to-"

"Hey guys, are you, like, totally ready to see your son? Good, but, like, one question.... how many languages does your kid speak exactly?"

"Ah, w-well- I...E-exac- err.."

"English and French as far as we know." Francis said, saving Arthur from his little stuttering show.

"So only two languages?"

"Oui."

"Hmp, two languages my ass." the blonde muttered under his breath as he lead them inside the room.

The moment he saw Matthew he jumped over and gave him the tightest hug ever.

"MATTIE! YOURE OKAY, I WAS SO WORRIED ABOUT YOU AND I- oomph."

Alfred felt Matthew shove him off the hospital bed.

"Who are you!!!?" He yelled with a horror, and slightly disgusted, struck look.

"O-oh, that's right." Alfred got off the floor and stood straight, giving a small bow like the one Kiku always uses to be polite.

"My name is Alfred and I'm you're beloved heroic brother who you worship and- owww! Iggybrows! What was that for?!" Alfred said, rubbing his head from where his dad had just smacked him.

"Stop being a twat Alfred! That's not how you greet your brother!"

"You didn't have to hit me! God, but at least you didn't make me eat one of those disgusting scones- owww! Stop it!"

"Serves you!"

"Oh mon Dieu! Both of you stop it!" Francis tried to get in between them, but only made it worse.

"You French frog, don't get involved in this and don't speak your damn French! You know I don't understand any of that Bullocks!"

"Yeah, don't get involved frenchie!"

As the argument continued, Matthew could only look at these people in shock and horror. The two doctors just stood there awkwardly along with the Japanese kid, who shifted uncomfortably from the bickering.

This was not what he imagined his 'family' would be like. Not. At. All.

The Japanese kid seemed to notice Matthew's discomfort and horror, so he slipped through the chaos that was going on at the moment and made his way to Matthew's bed.

When he got there, he bowed down all the way and said, "Gomen'nasai. They are not usually like tha-.... Well, they are, but not like that! I know it looks bad, but that's because they'd been worried about you."

Matthew calmed down a bit, but still felt uneasy about all this.

"May I sit?" The small boy asked, gesturing to the bed.

"O-oh, of course!"

"Arigaro." he took a seat before he realised. "Ah! I forgot to introduce myself! My name is Honda Kiku and I'm Japanese."

"Oh, your Japanese?" Matthew said. "Then would you feel more comfortably if I used the titles and called you by your last name?"

Kiku smiled and shook his head. "None of that is necessary, Kiku is fine, but I really appreciate you asking. Thank you."

They then sat in a comfortable silence, just staring at the three fight, before Matthew decided to speak up.

"So this is really my family?"

"Hai, please don't think too low of them, they just tend to get out hand often...."

Matthew sighed. "Well, it's not like they made the best first impression."

"True, but it's just how they are." Kiku replied. After a small pause, he turned to Matthew. "Would you like some pocky? It's Japanese candy I gave to Alfred and asked him to bring it to you a while ago on my behalf."

Matthew smiled. "Sure, I'd love some."

With a swift movement, Kiku brought out the candy and they both began to eat it together.

Despite all Kiku had said about the three arguing people in front of him, he couldn't help but dislike them. Not just for the argument, but for something else..... he didn't know what for though.

Matthew sighed softly. He really didn't like them, but if this was his so called family, he was just going to have to learn to deal with it. One way or another, but he couldn't help but laugh a bit because, damn!,

That was a horrible first impression.
