Nina bobbed in her. "Yes, he mostly has his breakfast around eight-thirty and then leaves for work."
Andaleeb's eyes quickly went over to the wall clock. It was still eight-fifteen. She still had time.
"I'd want to have breakfast on the table today. I am not feeling well in the room by staying here all the time," she told Nina.
Her jaw dropped. "Bibi, Sayen didn't order me to let you go out today."
She rolled her eyes. "It's not like I am going to flee from here again now. Your Sayen is already at home, so it's giving me zero luck if I try to escape, Nina."
"But Bibi..."
She sighed and held out her hands. "Come on. Put that chain over my wrists and tie me up like one would do with culprits and then take me down. So that your Sayen will be proud of you more."
Nina swallowed. "Allah maaf kray, Bibi. Sayen would kill me if I did this to you."
She touched her shoulder. "I promise that I will not let this fall upon you, Nina. I won't once again let innocent people become victims. You do one thing: come downstairs. It will give him an idea that you tried to guard me to your best but I didn't listen."
Regardless, Andaleeb succeeded in leaving the room this time. She held Nina's hand and made her go downstairs along with her as well. This house was magnificent and big. The huge staircase led to the hall. On the left side, she could catch the sight of the dining hall. And from afar, Masab's back was visible as he was seated on the head chair of the table.
"Let me go, woman!" She yelled to catch his attention and then rushed ahead.
Masab, who was busy on his phone, paused at her voice and then turned his neck around. He almost forgot to blink at how beautiful she was looking right now. Then his eyes went over to a hyperventilating Nina. He shook his head in exasperation before gesturing for the other woman to leave with his head nod.
Andaleeb corrected the layers of her hair before moving forward. He stood up, eyeing her every step. He didn't proceed to talk to her about their marriage because things tensed up in his own house. His family was so ready to marry Hoorain to him and they were making all the preparations.
According to his earlier plan, Masab thought that if she would have remembered a slight bit of what Aurang did with her, she would just become scared and accept when he brought forward his wish to marry her to save her dignity. Or else he would use anyway to reach her parents and then start the talk of their marriage in a civil way. But he couldn't believe that she would be this boisterous and rebellious. Masab was apprehensive that if he would again talk to her about their marriage, she would lose her cool and again try to irk him by doing something bad with her.
That was what she did just a few days ago. That was why Masab didn't want to press her right now. If he would involve her parents, he had to let her go to them first. Who knew what would she try doing then? That was why he wanted to delay this for a while and make her think of this really as captivity and prison so that her helplessness would push her to become his in every way possible. Making her go public this quickly wouldn't be wise as the fact that Aurang's phone showed her number, their messages, and pictures together to the authorities when they were searching. It was thankful that Masab's team was given this task and he could easily manipulate it by erasing every trace of her from his phone.
Becoming a villain in your own love story was a hard task. She would hate him but this hate was for her benefit.
"What are you doing here?" Masab inquired, with a twist of his nose.
She moved her hands in the air. "I am tired of you locking me up like this, Masab. I need to breathe properly. Don't worry I am not fool to try to flee again when your weird dog is so ready to pound on me every time I try to leave the threshold of your mansion. I am not going to elope now."
He shoved his hands in his pockets. "Didn't you just do a while ago? You tried to elope from Nina's scrutiny."
She huffed. "Well, it was just because I wanted to leave my room, not your house. There's a big fat difference between them. Can't you just spare me a bit of freedom? You have your whole mansion loaded with cameras and you have a guard on every nook. Can I elope like this? I need to become invisible maybe to become successful then."
Masab suddenly felt bad. He wished to give his heart, soul, feelings, and everything to her, and here she was asking for freedom from him. For the first time, he hated the work he did. If it wasn't for this, he would have shown this girl how much he loved her and how much she meant to him.
"Leave it. Now you are here, have breakfast then. If you try to be a good girl and listen to me, I won't make you feel like a prison, Andaleeb. You brought all those restrictions upon yourself," he responded, pointing his open palm toward the dining table.
She nodded and ambled ahead, her heels making a melodious sound on the marble floor. The table was adorned with many breakfast items. Andaleeb pushed back the chair, right next to the one where he was seated before reclining on it. She fervently started filling her plate with delicacies. Everything aside, she was craving good food now. Masab looked at her in confusion. What happened with her all of a sudden?
"Why did you take those pills, and then why did you even think that I would take advantage of you?" He confronted her, seeing her calmly applying butter on the toast.
She stopped and stared at him. "Because I was fed up with this life. I wanted you to just leave me alone. I thought that once you fulfilled your obsession, you would get bored of me and give me a permit to either die or leave from here."
Masab narrowed his eyes at her. "I am not obsessed with you like that. I don't desire you like a piece of flesh, Andaleeb. I love you and I want to give you respect and affection. Next time, don't try to put your life at stake like this again. You are mine and I don't allow you to do this."
She chuckled, taking a bite of the toast. "I know because I got my lesson. I know I have no way out of here. You will track me down in no time. You won't even let me die in peace, too, Masab. And I know you very well as well. You don't love me. You only want to claim me like a damn owner of me. What can I expect from a person like you who kidnaps a girl and then says that he loves her? That's cheap to even call it love."
He folded his fingers in a fist in fury. "You don't know me enough."
She exhaled. "Never mind. You kidnapped me. You are keeping me as a captive, chaining me up, and ordering me around that you own me. Do I still not know you? I have seen many people like you, Mister. They only want to feel higher than women and treat them like animals. You only added a mantra of love to it. It's better to take it out because it's even disrespecting real love, too. You claim to love me and then wish to give me respect when the whole world will know me as a girl whom you kidnapped and kept in your house without any legal relationship? I won't allow you to do that with me, Masab. Even your servants consider me some random kind of girl because of what you did to me. Yet you say that you love me? One doesn't do this with the one they claim to love. You consider me as any low-level girl to fulfill your fantasy of a wife with benefits who would become a disgrace in front of everyone, but you will be happy. And then you will marry with your family's will. That woman will get all the love, status, and respect. And I will become a stigma. I won't allow you to treat me like that, Masab."
His eyes were blood red now as he couldn't bear to hear what she was saying. "What do you want then?"
She plopped her both hands flat on the table. "I want you to marry me. Do a nikkah with me in front of the whole world and your family. Give me the status and respect as your wife,, and make sure everyone does the same. If your family object and they will force you for the marriage of their choice, you are not going to betray me, Masab. You will always remain loyal to me if you don't want to let me go now."
He stared at her with stun. Did she really say it?
