Chapter 16: Other Asgardians

Thor: don't worry, my friends. I have a plan.

Fandral: come on.

The Asgardians and humans regrouped as Thor watched as Wade rolled out of a blast of the Destroyer and fired another rocket at it as Amora sent another magic blast sending him away before she let some rock cover his torso as she walked up to him and kneels down to him.

Amora: you sure are tough. I like that~

Thor dropped the shield as Jane saw this.

Jane: wait!

Thor walked to the Destroyer as Amora kept her magic on restraining Wade.

Jane: what's he doing?

Thor: brother, whatever I have down to wrong you, whatever I have done to lead you to do this, I am truly sorry. But these people are innocent. Taking their lives will gain you nothing.

The Destroyer opened its face and got ready to blast him.

Thor: so take mine and end this.

The Destroyer powered down as its face went back to normal as it turned around and bitch slapped Thor away as Jane ran to Thor as it seemed he was dying.

Wade: Jocasta. Chest beam.

Amora looked down as Wade fired his armor's chest beam knocking Amora back as he got up. The Destroyer went towards him and Wade quickly went back to fight.

Jane kneeled down to Thor.

Thor: it's over.

Jane: no. It's not over.

Thor; I mean, you're safe.

Jane: we're safe.

Thor: it's over.

Thor inhales deeply as Jane started crying as he wouldn't wake up. The others were saddened about this. Completely ignoring the fight right in front of them.

In his chambers, Odin let out a tear while he slept as back in the SHIELD outpost, there was movement from the Hammer.

Whosoever holds this hammer, if he be worthy, shall possess the power of Thor.

Mjolnir flew out of the Shield compound as they heard Mjolnir whooshing through the sky towards them as Selvig ran to Jane and grabbed her as the Destroyer and Amora finally managed to ground Wade as the Destroyer went to blast him at point blank range.

Selvig got Jane away as Mjolnir arrived and Thor caught it as lightning stroke from the sky as Wade, Amora, and the Destroyer looked as Thor started getting his armor as the Asgardians were smirking and happy as the humans were in disbelief.

Jane: oh. My. God.

The Destroyer went to blast Thor but Thor threw Mjolnir and hit the Destroyer's head making its laser fire elsewhere as Amora looked scared as Mjolnir came back and hit the Destroyer down as Thor caught Mjolnir in his full armor and fully healed.

The Destroyer got up as the wind was picking up a lot as Thor flew and the Destroyer tried to laser him but missed. The others went to take cover as Amora casted a shield around herself and Wade flew up as there was now a mini tornado in the middle of the town.

Anything that wasn't cemented to the ground started getting lifted up as Thor increased the air but Wade flew down and grabbed the Destroyer armor as he took it to the skies and lets it float with the increased air as the Destroyer fires at Thor but Thor deflects it away twice before he goes down to it and powers through the laser and destroys the Destroyer's head letting the armor fall into the ground destroying the armor for good.
