Andaleeb corrected her dress and removed the dirt from it before looking around. After running quite a distance away from this mansion, she would take any public transport and go back to her house. However, what was ahead of her made her throat dry, and it caused her feet to almost get glued to the floor. She felt a tug at her bridal dupatta.
His red, frightening eyes were glaring at her, and he was pushing away her dupatta, tearing it down with his stern grip. Soon he started barking dangerously and once again pounded at her. A shout left her mouth, and she took a few steps back to avoid him, but he already jumped at her, making her fall on the rough ground.
She closed her eyes in anticipation of her death, this time again by this scary-looking dog. Tears started running down her cheek but when nothing happened for a few seconds, she opened her eyes again. Sikandar was looking at her with his curious eyes. He got off her and again barked a few times. She stood up and scowled at Sikandar. Why this damn dog always came in her way? What if this barking had anything to do with a sign for Masab? The dog again growled and tried to approach but her then once again confident footsteps sounded. As she expected, it was an alarm for Masab.
That jerk again came there, his eyes shooting daggers at her. His calm body language made it obvious that he didn't come here coincidentally. He got the indication that she had fled, either by his dog or by anything else.
"Sikandar, go back to your place!" Masab gestured a finger at his dog who diligently waggled his tail and went away.
Once his attention diverted, it landed on Andaleeb. The anger flew from his eyes and was replaced by a teasing gleam. He smirked. "Do you think I am a fool?"
Her mouth fell open and then many realizations hit her. Maybe he wasn't, but she proved herself to be a fool. Her heart fluttered on a thin line at this.
"I ain't a gentleman but I tried to become one with you. But you proved me wrong because you exactly needed tight control over yourself. That was a test for you, Andaleeb, and you did what I was expecting from you," he told her, with a shake of his head.
Masab must have made it all the way clear for her so that she could find hope to flee again. He would have asked no servants to come in her way and then ordered someone to keep this hidden place evident for her to fall prey to it. Was he tracking her with a camera?
"I have my eyes on you every time, Andaleeb. When I got you, I won't let you go away this easily. And once you dared to sneak away when I clearly asked you not to, I would have to teach you a lesson," he sternly said.
She pressed her lips together in annoyance. But she knew now she couldn't say anything anymore. Where did she stick herself?

She hissed when she once again felt a steely grip over her left foot. And then with a tug, a clasp sound reverberated. In annoyance, she whimpered and tried to jerk off her foot but all in vain. As he claimed, Masab had chained her up with the bed's edge because of her disobedience. It had been twenty five five days since she was here and starting from that night, Masab started chaining her.
Their interactions weren't anything civil before as well but now they barely talked. He who wanted to talk to her after their supposed dinner that day didn't continue. She knew Masab was giving her a punishment. He was delaying her freedom if he had plans for it in the first place. But so far, she felt that he didn't want to do that. He wanted to own her forever.
Masab had meals with her thrice but most of the time, he wasn't at home. However, she knew that Masab had kept his eyes on her through his men or the invisible cameras. Life had lost the direction for her and she sensed that if not death, she had no way out of it. She never felt this helplessness ever. She had used every way to come out of this prison. She had opted for starvation, yelling, crying, and locking herself in the room, but nothing helped her at all. Masab was eager to claim her in his way. He didn't try anything with her but she knew he was waiting for her to herself submit himself to her.
"Why are you doing this to me?" Andaleeb yelled in frustration, finally losing her cool. Every time it was the same. She only got freed from this chain when he was with her.
He remained quiet, but his jaw clenched angrily as he locked the chain. After the dinner which Andaleeb forced herself to eat because of the obvious tension between them because of her act, he had brought her back into her room. Soon he started his work of tying her up so that she would not strive for another try to flee away.
"I want to go home. Don't do this to me," she whispered, as tears impinged in her eyes.
"Forget about home. You are going to stay here with me forever. That's your fate," he rasped, calmly.
She glared at him. "You are no one to decide my fate."
He gave her a bone-chilling smile as he got up and looked proudly at what he did. "When Masab Shah Alavi fixes his eyes and minds at someone, everything about that person belongs to him. You caught my attention and you belong to me now. I wanted to make things easier for you but you didn't listen. Now you have to bear it."
"You are a psychopath. You are a mental person," she shrilled, furiously.
His eyes turned dark at this and he bent near her. "Don't you fear this a bit that I can do anything with you if you keep on shouting like this?"
"No, I would rather prefer to die than to fear someone like you. What's even there to fear now? Do what you want to do. I dare you to do anything with me. Maybe after satisfying your animalistic desires, you will be sated and leave me," she harshly murmured, removing the dupatta from around herself.
Masab's fingers slowly clenched into a fist seeing this. Her hand went over to her shirt as she started to unbutton. The veins over his temple became prominent as he tried to contain his anger over what she was doing.
"Do that. That's what you wanted from the real start, right? Then go ahead and claim what you think is yours and free me from the prison of your so-called love," she gasped, her breath hitching with it.
"Stop!" Masab yelled at the top of his lungs when he found her hand over her last button.
But what happened next shocked him as Andaleeb's eyes rolled back and she fell over the mattress with her neck dangling downward. A tear made a way out of her eye, and the colored stain on her palm indicated what she had done.
