Her heart started beating crazily against her chest but she had to do this. After a while, the door again pushed and a quite frightened Nooran entered. Her breath hitched, finding the blood drops over the floor. What had happened here? Without any word, she started cleaning the space. The way this girl acted out when she brought her foot was still running in Nooran's memory and she wished she wouldn't have agreed to her husband's request to come here. As far as she knew, her Chotte Sayen was a very nice, upright, and honest person who never indulged in any bad deed. But now he had kidnapped a girl and she was supposed to serve his captive.
Allah knew what his plans were, but the way Andaleeb had shouted at her still scared her. However, in front of Masab Shah Alavi's order, a small woman like Nooran couldn't say anything; hence, she was standing there again, intending to help Andaleeb with whatever she needed before going back to Masab.
"Chotte Sayen asked me to help you in getting freshened up. He wants you to join him for dinner in the night," she sheepishly told her.
Andaleeb huffed. "I don't have any clothes. I can't just keep on wearing this bridal dress."
She again looked at herself in that beautiful bridal attire which now looked crumpled. She was supposed to marry Aurang in this dress but now she didn't even know whether he was alive or that Masab killed him. She had even brought her suitcase, cash, and jewelry as well to help herself and Aurang to withstand life as a couple ahead. She didn't even know where these things went. Did this so-called rich landlord take them as well? However, that wasn't what bothered her now. She had to reach her parents as soon as possible, seek any way to tell the authorities about this criminal guy and find Aurang as well.
"You don't worry about that. You can find every necessary thing in this room. You can find your clothes in this en suite. That's what Chotte Sayen has ordered me to tell you," Nooran mumbled, respectfully.
She rolled her eyes at this. "What your Chotte Sayen is doing by the way?"
"He left a while ago for some work. I don't know the details, but he said that once he is back, you are supposed to have dinner with him," Nooran told her.
That made her heart beat at a different intensity here. That was the ideal time to flee from here. Masab's absence was such a piece of good news at this time.
Andaleeb cursed that day in her heart when she met this jerk and helped him. She should have hushed him off right at that moment. With difficulty, she again left the bed and headed towards the ensuite. As told by Nooran, she could find many rows of women's dresses inside. Ranging from fancy, party wear, simple to night suits, that guy didn't leave anything at all. She randomly took out a white colored night suit from inside. It was made of silk and cotton, having small flowers over the shirt and borders of the trousers.
She was amazed that even the size matched what she usually wore. That weird and irritating man took stalking to a completely different level. She bobbed her head in acceptance over this dress. It was comfortable and easy to wear which would ultimately help her in the end. Her focus went back to the wardrobe, now in search of a shawl or big dupatta. But to her disappointment, no dupatta with the eastern wear Masab had arranged for her was big enough to come into any use for her.
Finally deciding on her original bridal dupatta to hide herself, she strived to act upon her plan. Andaleeb only wished that she would be successful in this and escape from this prison.
Her eyes caught the look of the key in Nooran's hand. That was the key of this room which the maid would lock again once she would be done with helping with her bath. That was what happening since last night. She was locked into this room, and using this opportunity to sneak out of this room, and finally, this house would be beneficial. Masab wasn't at home but he must have left his men here to guard her. this move would be risky but she had to try against all odds. He perhaps would have kept cameras in his mansion, too, but doing something was better than accepting orders from a monster.
"Can you prepare a cup of coffee for .e, Nooran? I prefer it after a bath," she said to her.
Nooran nodded and went out of the room. Taking care of her every nerve, she went towards the side table of the bed and grabbed the glass. She felt bad doing this to an innocent woman but she didn't do anything like that for Masab to kidnap her. Yes, she did betray her family for Aurang, but that didn't give Masab any leverage.
After taking a warm shower in which she had hidden the glass piece skillfully, she changed into the white night suit. Nooran came after a while with a cup of hot coffee. And that was when she acted upon her plan. She hurled the glass into Nooran's head. The woman cried out and then fell on the floor, her head spinning around. In a while, she had lost consciousness.
She again hid the glass piece in the heavy bridal dupatta and surrounded it with her body before sneaking out of the room, looking here and there.
