"That’s the spirit, Rosa!" Hilda said, giving her friend a high five. "With all of us working together, nothing can stop us!"
As the group continued to joke and share stories, their laughter echoed through the desert air. Despite the seriousness of their mission, the lighthearted atmosphere reminded them that they were more than just a team—they were friends, bound by their shared experiences and mutual respect.
Up ahead, Lusamine and Gladion exchanged a glance, their expressions softening as they listened to the cheerful voices behind them.
"They really are a remarkable group," Lusamine said quietly, a small smile on her lips. "It’s no wonder they’ve accomplished so much together."
Gladion nodded, his usual stoic expression softening as he watched Lillie interact with the others. "They’re strong, and they bring out the best in each other. With them on our side, I have no doubt we’ll find Father."
Magearna, sensing the shift in their thoughts, let out a series of soft mechanical sounds, as if agreeing with Gladion's sentiment.
As They gets Closer to their destination, the Desert Resort loomed in the distance. The group’s laughter slowly faded into focused determination as they approached their destination. Whatever lay ahead, they were ready to face it together.
As the group approached the entrance to the ancient ruins of the Desert Resort, the atmosphere grew tense. The shadows cast by the setting sun stretched long and eerie across the stone façade, the air around them heavy with the anticipation of what lay within. The ruins loomed before them, a relic of a bygone era, its darkened corridors waiting to be explored.
Ash paused at the entrance, his eyes scanning the crumbling stonework. "This is it," she murmured, more to himself than to anyone else. "The place where the readings from Lucas’s device first spiked."
Magearna hovered beside Him, its eyes glowing faintly as it analyzed the structure. It let's out a Mechanical Sounds and Point the laser deeper to the ruins
Hilbert stepped forward, his gaze hardening as he stared into the dark entrance. "We should stay on guard. Team Plasma might be deeper inside, and we can’t let them get away with whatever they’re planning."
Lusamine, Gladion, Nate, Hilda, Rosa, and Lillie exchanged determined looks before they all followed Ash and Hilbert into the ruins, Pikachu and Magearna leading the way.
The inside of the ruins was cool and dark, the stone walls etched with ancient markings. As they descended deeper, the flickering light from their handheld Flashlights cast dancing shadows across the narrow passageways, adding to the eerie ambiance.
The deeper they went, the more the air seemed to hum with energy, growing stronger with every step. Lucas’s device began to beep erratically, the readings spiking off the charts.
Hilbert, holding the device, frowned as he studied the screen. "These readings are crazy. Whatever’s down here is giving off an enormous amount of energy."
Nate’s eyes scanned the area, his body tensed as he held his Braviary's Pokéball at the ready. "Looks like we’re not alone" he said as he Looks at a Track of Footsteps
Rosa shivered slightly as she clutched her Pokéball, but she remained resolute. "If Team Plasma is down here, we have to stop them. We can’t let them use that energy for their own ends."
As they rounded a corner, they heard muffled voices echoing through the stone corridors. The group immediately went silent, moving with stealth as they followed the sounds to a large chamber up ahead.
When they reached the entrance to the chamber, they peered inside, their eyes widening at the sight before them. A group of Team Plasma grunts were gathered around a large, glowing device anchored in the center of the room. The device pulsed with energy, tethering a partially stable Ultra Wormhole that swirled ominously above it.
