Shah! That mysterious guy whom she met in New York and he asked for her help.
Andaleeb's gaze followed from his hand to his strong forearm and rest of the figure which was cladded in a black Armani suit. He was tall, muscular, and sturdy. She finally looked at his face and then forgot how to blink her eyes.
It was really that same guy. What was he doing here?
She stood up with a jerk and approached him. "You?"
The dog's eyes became curious as it saw his boss stopping him from attacking this new invader. As soon as he let go of his leash, Sikandar ran away by waggling his tail.
"What are you doing here, Shah? Whose house is this? Why am I here?" Andaleeb asked in clutter, the feeling of disgust because of being at just arm's level with a dog who tried to maul her stopped as soon as she saw a familiar face.
She helped this guy once and she was sure that he would repay it. She didn't know how he came across her again but maybe fate wanted it. Maybe the same person who kidnapped her got him as well. Whatever it was, she was happy to see him.
One corner of Masab's lip twitched up. He was the same handsome as before. With an attractive face and a well-sculpted body, he gave powerful and rich vibes. "I am quite impressed that you remember my name."
She sighed. "Of course, I remember you. But forget this and help me get out of here. I don't know who brought me here and left their dangerous dog to attack me. If it wasn't you, he would've eaten me. Now find a way and help me."
"That dog is mine. His name is Sikandar," he calmly told her.
"Yours?" She raised a brow in confusion.
He stifled a smile. "Sikandar is a fighting dog. It thought that you were an intruder who barged into his Boss's house to attack him; hence,e, he pounded at you. But when I stopped him, he realized that you are no danger to me."
Andaleeb's eyes widened as she processed everything he said. She found herself too fooled to think that he was here to help her. Why would he be in a big mansion, wearing an expensive outfit and looking so happy and relaxed? Did it mean that Shah had anything to do with her kidnapping? However, why would he do that? She had nothing to do with him. Did he get her because she helped in New York?
Sikandar. Boss's house. He stopped his dog.
She gasped at this new revelation and again darted her attention to him who had a smug look over his face. "Who are you and what am I doing in your house?"
"I kidnapped you because I want you," he murmured with an actuality in his tone.
The way he spoke caused a shiver to run down her spine. Andaleeb had always been daring and fearless. Nothing could ever make her scared, but today, seeing this man claiming proudly that he kidnapped her made her gulp.
The initial shock and fear were replaced by fury, and she rushed towards him. She grabbed his collar as her eyes spilled daggers at him. He stood there, arrogantly as that annoying smile never left his face.
"What the hell are you saying? How can you do that, Shah?" She snarled.
"Masab Shah Alavi wants you, Andaleeb Sultan. That's enough reason for me to claim you as mine," he announced without any second doubt.
Her jaw dropped at this. "What? You can't be serious."
She thought that perhaps he was lying or joking. How could he do something like this? She helped him when he was in need, and return, he repaid her favor by kidnapping her.
"Let me come clear, Andaleeb. I didn't need any help that night. That small wound was nothing to me. I made up that story because you caught my attention. I wanted you exactly at the same time you came in front of me. Love at first sight? That was what it was. I fell in love with you and I used every mean and every way to get you. I became crazy for you. I stalked you, became your secret admirer, and then used this last resort to make you mine. And I succeeded because nothing could ever make me happier than to see you standing in my house as my mandate," he completed with a tilt of his head.
Secret admirer? Her mind stopped here, and it went back to the anonymous messages, calls, andgifs that came to her by this name. Was Masab included in all of this?
Andaleeb crushed her teeth into each other as she raised her hand to slap him but her wrist was caught midway by Masab's steely grip. "Don't try that. You are standing in my house, and you are completely at my mercy. Infuriating me wouldn't be good for you."
Tears brimmed her vision but she pushed them back. "You are an asshole. You are an ungrateful jerk who did this to a person who helped you. I will kill you, you irritating jerk."
She again tried to jump towards him. The anger got so pronounced that she wanted to physically hurt him. Why did he do this with her? She never considered herself selfless and kind. Her sister was the one whom everyone called kind. She was the total opposite. She never talked to anyone sweetly because it never came to her naturally. People called her arrogant and full of herself but Andaleeb couldn't help it.
That wasn't in her control to change her tone and way of talking. But for the first time in her life, she acted graciously with someone. But maybe that was her biggest mistake because she came into the pawns of this jerk Masab Shah Alavi who wanted to conquer her.
Andaleeb rammed her fists into his chest but he didn't budge a bit. A prominent vein over his jaw ticked as he clenched it tightly while digging his blue eyes at her. He again held her hands tightly and pulled them away.
"Falling in love with you doesn't fall under ungratefulness to your kindness, Andaleeb. When I lay my eye on something, it becomes a mission for me to get it as I did with you," he told her, calmly.
She glared at him before looking around. "I won't spare you. I will---"
She suddenly felt dizziness which Masab noted well. He grabbed her arm and pulled her inside the room along with him. She resisted and tried to free herself, but her own deteriorating physical and mental state, apart from Masab's grip, didn't let her do so.
"Leave me. What are you doing?" She grunted in annoyance.
Masab let her fall on the mattress on the big bed and approached her with steady steps. She pushed herself to the headboard of the bed. What was he going to do with her?
"You are going to stay here from now on, Andaleeb. Get this thing in your mind clearly. You are mine now because my heart, body, and soul have claimed you as mine. Your everything is mine now," he rasped in her ear making her glower at him.
"Shut up! That's your idiocy that you can think you can own me. I won't bow in front of you. I will leave from here but before that, I will make sure to kill you," she snapped at him, nipping at her teeth.
He chuckled. "First of all, it's your idiocy to think that I will let you leave. But let's say, you will succeed and flee from here, then where will you go? To your parents's house? The parents whom you had insulted by running away from your wedding and meeting your boyfriend so that you two can marry? Or to that boyfriend who is nowhere to be seen?"
Her breath caught in her throat hearing this. Masab said he stalked her so it wasn't weird hearing that from him that he must be knowing everything about her. But when he mentioned Aurang, many things opened up again for her. Yes, she did leave her house for Aurang and they were about to get married. He had already made every arrangement. But where was he now?
"What did you do with Aurang?" She gnarled furiously at him.
