Andaleeb; the woman who caught his attention and because of whom he was ready to go to any extent because she was meant to be his.

Masab shot Rahim a confused look. The only reason he selected him for today was because he was a trustworthy and responsible person. He had known him since he was a kid, and Rahim would know better than anyone to consider the woman residing in this room as Masab's woman without laying any bad eye or bad hand over her.

"You said she was awake. But she is still the same," he questioned, stepping inside.

"She woke up briefly, Saab but I think so she again fainted," Rahim answered truthfully.

Masab nodded, looking at Andaleeb's sleeping face. "The dose was very powerful and that bastard not only gave her a drugged juice but also injected some sleeping medication in her vein. The doctor said that it would take some time for her to recover from it."

Masab's jaw clenched and he made a fist of his fingers in anger thinking about that man. A dire need rose in his heart to kill him.

Rahim bit his lower lip in apprehension, thinking about whether to ask this or not, but then curiosity won him over. "Saab, what are you going to do with her?"

Rahim Baksh was a very credible servant of their family. He was given the job of being a personal worker for Masab when he was younger, and that was one of the reasons why he trusted her with Andaleeb's thing. Rahim's loyalty to him would keep his mouth shut till he needed it.

Rahim was curious and surprised when he got a call from Masab Shah last night that he needed him in his Hyderabad mansion. Rahim took the next train from Karachi to Hyderabad and what awaited him wasn't anything less than a shock. Masab had brought a bride here who was unconscious. He asked him to take care of her and never let her leave the house if she would get up. He sternly asked him to keep it a secret if he wanted his life which Rahim heard diligently. Now it was more than twelve hours and this was the first time that girl woke up.

Masab narrowed his eyes at him. "None of your business, Rahim. Just do your work which is to keep her safe. Don't tell about her to anyone, not even Baba Saen till I won't tell you. You can leave now."

A red tinge appeared over his face. "You can trust me, Saab. You have done so many favors on me for me not to backbite you."

Rahim left after that, leaving Masab alone in that room. His gaze wandered over the whole surrounding before falling over Andaleeb. The emeralds that he wanted to see were close by the beautiful curtains of her eyelids, her lips were in a pout, and she wasn't in her senses at all. He suddenly recalled their first meeting in NYC. She was so feisty, spirited, bold, and ardent. God knew what would be her reaction seeing her in this place and front of him. Did she ever remember him or not? But whatever it was, he wouldn't let her go after getting her in his life so dramatically and with so difficulty. She was his, and he would tell this to the whole world, including herself.

She reached here after seeing so much and after leaving so much. Things wouldn't be easier for her and that was for sure.

Masab shook his head and took out his phone from his pocket. He dialed Dr Khawar's number whom he also referred last night when he brought Andaleeb to his house. He made sure she was out of danger and told him that she would be up in the next couple of hours. Her condition still needed scrutiny, and Dr Khawar was best for it. Who would, like Rahim, keep it a hidden thing from everyone?

She felt her head heavy and aching when she again found her eyes trembling and her heart beating against her chest. Andaleeb slowly opened her eyes, and as opposed to before, she felt better and could make an awareness of her surroundings. But what was in front of her made her more restless and scared. She was in an unknown place with no one around. She found herself lying on a bed. The room was big and despite how much she tried, she couldn't remember anything.

All she recalled was that tonight was her wedding day and she fled from her house. She met Aurang and he brought her to his friend's house. They ate a meal together, er, and after that, he asked her to change into her bridal dress again when it was time for their nikkah. But what happened after that, she didn't remember. Now, where was Aurang, and where was she? It didn't seem like the same room where Aurang had made her stay. This house was way more vast, beautiful, and wide than that of Aurang's friend's.

She took a deep breath before laying her legs on the ground. She looked around for her phone but there was nothing there except for a jug of water. Where did she forget her cell phone? What was all this?

Even her limbs felt heavy and numb as she put weight over them. Walking while holding her heavy bridal dress and an aching body was difficult for her but she needed to see what was happening to her and where was Aurang.

She moved over to the door and pushed it aside. It opened with a creaking sound. She came out and stared out. How big all this was, that seemed like a mansion to her. So graceful, amazing, and big, did she just walk into a palace? Her own house was very big but nothing could win against this one. Leaving every thought, she focused on finding Aurang.

"Aurang...where are you?" She found her voice heavy and nasal as she spoke.

But there was no Aurang to be seen. However, who answered her footsteps and voice left her frightened and appealed. A shriek left her mouth. She wanted to move but her feet seemed to be glued to the floor as they refused to take a small step. A full-blown shout made a way through her throat when a shadow leaped at her, faster than the speed of the light perhaps.
