Chapter 15: Thor

Thor: what sort of trick is this?

Wade gets up as he throws a punch a Thor sending him back a little as it seemed he got punched with the same force he gave. Thor got up as he looked at Wade and grinned, Wade had no idea why was he grinning as he put his fists up.

Thor started throwing punches at Wade as Wade guarded multiple hits as his skin glowed each time before he threw a punch a sent Thor back. Thor knew he wouldn't beat Wade in time before the guards arrived so he got up and punched Wade a lot and this time he dodged Wade's punch, and tackled him as they both fell down the mud next to the hammer.

They both get up as Thor walks to his hammer as he grinned. Wade looked up to see Clint aiming his bow as he held his hand up and shook his head. Thor grabbed Mjolnir's handle and tried to pick it up but just as everyone else he couldn't even budge it. He tried with both hands but it still didn't work.

Thor looked at his hands before looking at the sky and screams as he fell to his knees. Wade walks closer as he put his hand on his shoulder as his other hand got close to Mjolnir as some lightning shock his finger and Thor saw it.

Thor: are you worthy?

Wade: worthy?

Guards arrived and cuffed Thor as he saw the Asgard symbol glowing on it before it fade away. They took Thor away as Wade stayed back as he looks at Mjolnir and then looks to the sky.

Heimdall watched this happened from the Bifrost which he guards.

Later

Wade was outside the room where they're keeping Thor in a one way glass as Coulson questioned him as Wade already cleaned himself up.

Coulson: you made my men, some of the most highly trained professionals in the world, look like a bunch of minimum-wage mall cops. That's hurtful. In my experience, it takes someone who's received similar training to do what you did to them. Why don't you tell me where you received your training? Pakistan? Chechnya? Afghanistan? No, you strike me more as the soldier of fortune type. Where was it? South Africa? Certain groups pay very well for a good mercenary like you. Who are you?

Thor: <says nothing>

Coulson: one way or another, we find out what we need to know. We're good at that. <pager beeps> don't go anywhere. <walks out>

Wade saw Coulson pass him as he turns back around and sees someone else inside as his eyes widen but he looks around and no one else but Thor was seeing him.

Thor: Loki! What are you doing here?

Loki: I had to see you.

Thor: what's happened? Tell me. Is it Jotunheim? Let me explain to Father.

Loki: Father is dead.

Thor: what?

Loki: your banishment, the threat of a new war, it was too much for him to bear. You mustn't blame yourself. I know that you loved him. I tried to tell him so, but he wouldn't listen. It was so cruel to put the hammer within your reach, knowing that you could never lift it. The burden of the throne has fallen to me now.

Thor: can I come home?

Loki; the truce with Jotunheim is conditional upon your exile.

Thor; yes, but couldn't we find a way...

Loki: and mother has forbidden your return. This is goodbye, Brother. I'm so sorry.

Thor: no. I am sorry. Thank you for coming here.

Loki: farewell.

Loki disappeared as Coulson went back in.

Thor: goodbye.
