Zaman Haveli was beautiful before as well. But seeing it after so many years, he found it more surreal. The exterior was of white and yellow combination. There was a huge driveway that led to the inside. A big garden with tall trees, trimmed grass, and fragment flowers was making a show. There was a garage at the left where many expensive cars were standing. The driver also steered their car towards the garage, settling it behind the already parked vehicles. On the other side, there was an amazing swimming pool made of white and blue tiles. The floor was marbled and shiny. The walls were tall and white in color.
Shah got out of the car and breathed in the musky scent of the surroundings which was filled with scent of the flowers and trees. They went inside the big bungalow. Its hall was spacious and painted with white and grey color. The hall was decorated with one three-sitter and a couple of two-sitter white sofas with a glass table in the front.
After spending a bit of time with his family, Shah excused himself for a quick shower. Once he reached his room, a smile crept over his lips seeing its familiar surroundings. The room was cleaned but the setting was exactly like the time when he used to live. Perhaps his mother took care of cleaning but didn't let anyone change the setting to secure his privacy. His room like the rest of the house was coated with yet another creamy white and brown combination. The furniture was brown in color and the walls were white. He quickly went inside the en suite for a cold and soothing shower. Shah wouldn't deny he felt refreshed for the first time in a while.
Once back in the room, he wore simple black sweatpants with a black shirt. Suddenly something fell from his wardrobe with a harsh sound. It was a white folder with many papers peeping out of it. It didn't take Shah that much time to recognize it as he bent down and grabbed the folder from the floor. The thing glimpsing through it was a white paper having a black silhouette of a painting. A smile occupied his lips as he slid the page out. It is revealed to be a handmade black-and-white painting of a beautiful girl. She had long hair, gorgeous big brown eyes, and plump pink lips. Her smile was contagious and her cheeks had dimples due to her smile.
Other sketches too only showed the picture of that one face, doing many different things.
"I'll find you no matter what and I will make you mine. You will be named as mine to be called," he whispered to the smiling face of the girl as he again put the folder back in the en suite.

In the evening, the whole family was having tea with light snacks along with the flavor of different older time talks and instances which were making a round, causing laughter and giggling to reverberate.
"Now as we accepted your wish and let you complete the higher studies, now you should also grace our wish, Shah. I am growing older and I want my heir to take my place and help our name thrive in the next generations. I want you to focus on our work now and become my strength," his father told him, taking a sip of the tea.
Shah blinked. "You don't worry, Baba Sayen. I won't become a disappointment. But you aren't going to say this again that you want me to take your place because I can't. You are yourself and In Sha Allah, you are going to have a long life."
Shah Zaman smiled weakly. "One doesn't know the future, Shah."
"Yes true but let's not talk depressing things. Your presence will give me the strength Baba Sayen," Shah murmured, truthfully.
"Let's not turn sad on this happy day. I want to talk to you about something else too, Shah," his mother interrupted, sounding happy and delighted.
Everyone turned towards her while his grandmother and sister Dania had grins on their lips.
"I want you to marry now. As Dania is getting married soon, I want to see your bride here so that if one daughter is leaving, one should also come here," Shehwar Begum said. One of the reasons for this arrival of Shah was Dania's wedding which was about to happen in a few months.
Shah chuckled. "I knew Amma Sayen that you would say this."
She wiggled her brows. "So why not? You are of age, Masha Allah. I want to see my daughter-in-law and grandsons as well."
He just shook his head as an embarrassed look occupied his face. "You are thinking way too much about this."
"I have already collected pictures of many girls for you. I'll show you soon," his mother enlightened him.
"Yes, I also want to see you being married and happy in life now, Shah," Bi Jan also announced.
"Unless Bhai didn't choose a foreigner there in the US for himself, we are all good," Dania mumbled, laughing earning a glare from him.
"Even if he himself had chosen a girl, I have a problem. I just want to see my son happy," Shehwar Begum lovingly proclaimed.
"Okay fine, but can we just end this topic now? Let's go somewhere out in the night today," Shah let out, wanting to change the topic but who knew, his mind totally went towards that girl in his sketches when his marriage was mentioned.
One corner of his lip flung up as he took a sip of the delicious tea, his thoughts only wavering at her. That portrait captured her beauty from every angle. When she smiled, when she was angry, when she was feeling sad; it was everything. He had read her like a book. He had fallen in love with her like there was no tomorrow. He just wanted to find her and make her his.
