"Yeah. I uh, i was meaning to talk to you..... since your name was in the 'jackass file'"
"That what?" Vivienne frowned.
"Your old history teacher had this file of trouble makers, which he labeled 'jackass file' with your name on the very last"
"Probably because of his issue with my outfits" Vivienne rolled her eyes.
"Yeah he mentioned in his file that you dressed like a 'hobo' and 'had no interest in history'"
"Probably why he warned me for getting dress coded like 3 times. As for the no interest in history, he only ever asked me one question, it's not necessary that I don't know more history..... Connard" Vivienne rolled her eyes, then realised she was with a teacher.
One who was giving her weird looks at the last word she spoke.
"That was a very pleasant and nice word"
"Anyway," Alaric shrugged, brushing off her last sentence, "I've not really seen you around anyone other than Elena and Jeremy, or Bonnie. Or that blonde I keep forgetting the name of."
"Her name's Caroline. And I haven't really made any friends other than them and this one girl Ava, so, heh"
"Ah...I also read your file. It said you've moved around alot and changed schools like 10 times since you were 7?"
"Ah yes, my mother and I liked traveling, so we travelled around, stayed a year, then left" Vivienne shrugged.
"Ah, right. Your mother is Jenna sommers, right?"
"Yeah, she also mentioned you two meeting at the bar.." Vivienne couldn't help but give the history teacher a small smirk.
"Well we talked...a little," he chuckled.
"Riiight," Vivienne nodded sarcastically.
"Well anyhow, I know it's weird to be the new person in school. Sometimes you stand out, and I understand that because I'm new too and you've probably seen me hanging in my class more than the teacher's room, mostly because they don't really talk to me. So, if you ever need help with anything, just come into my classroom and we can chat." he shrugged.
Vivienne raised an eyebrow.
"I know I'm not supposed to say this cause you're my teacher, and I but are you trying to make a good impression on my mother? Jeremy told me what happened so honesty is the best policy ATM"
"ATM?"
"At the moment. And Don't ignore the question"
Alaric scrunched up his nose like he was thinking.
"Half of it, yeah" he said with a sigh then chuckled and Vivienne laughed.
"Well you did, on your first day only actually. But eh." Vivienne shrugged.
"Right, Well you probably have a lot of work to do, so, I'll go and check up on my part of the decoration. See you in class"
"See ya, Mr. Saltzman"
..••..••..••..••..••..••..
"My flirting skills are not that bad" Vivienne argued as her and Caroline leaned on the wall of the entrance.
"They're terrible, trust me!" Caroline laughed.
"Hey, you laughed when I tried doing that with you to cheer you up at the grill that day!"
"Because those lines were terrible and funny!"
"No they weren't!" Vivienne rolled her eyes and looked away with a small smile.
