The next morning, Vivienne rolled over on her bed, only to be met with a sleeping Elena.

She sat up, startled, then relaxed, realising what she was doing there in the first place.

She looked to the other side and saw Jenna asleep.

Then looked ahead and saw Jeremy sleeping horizontally on the bed.

The reason they were there?

Well, let's just say Vivienne interacting with just one spirit attracted 7 more.

And it's hard to say they're friendly when they start throwing sharp objects at you.

Scissors for example.

Upon seeing those spirits throwing harmful objects at her, she panicked, and like a not-so-sensible human being, ran for the door.

Unfortunately it got blocked as well.

So she did the last thing she could think of.

Vivienne rushed into class late, behind the new teacher.

She immediately grabbed the chair in the first seat and sat down just as the teacher wished everyone a good morning.

"Alrighty" he rubbed his hands together then grabbed the chalk, and proceeded to write on the board, while spelling out the letters side by side.

"Alaric. Saltzman. It's a mouthful, I know. Doesn't exactly roll off the tongue. Saltzman is of German origins. My family emigrated here in 1755 to Texas. I however was born and raised in Boston."

"I like him already" Ava, a girl Vivienne had befriended in school recently, who also sat beside her, said.

She's also in the cheer team.

"Same" Vivienne nodded.

"Now the name Alaric belongs to a very dead great-grandfather, I'll never be able to thank enough. You'll probably wanna pronounce it Ae-le-ric. But, it's... Alaric. So you can call me Ric." He nodded, "I'm your new history teacher. Any questions?"

Vivienne raised her hand.

"Yes?"

"You said we can call you Ric, but is it something like we can only call you Ric when we're talking to our friends, or can we call you that when talking to you as well?"

"Ric is just fine....and your name is...?"

"Vivienne Sommers"
