4. Magical burnout: Siphoners may suffer magical burnout, leading to:
- Temporary loss of magical abilities.
- Instability or unpredictable magic.
- Vulnerability to dark magic or possession.
5. Physical harm: In extreme cases, using all their magic can cause physical harm, such as:
- Injury.
- Illness.
- Unstable health.
siphoners need to be mindful of their magical limits and boundaries to avoid these consequences"
"One more thing I told you"
"If a siphoner absorbs all of the vampirism out of a vampire's body, it kills the vampire instead of turning them into a human. It can also kill the siphoner because their body cannot hold that much energy"
"Now that you know all of that," grams turned to Vivienne completely, "give me your hands"
Grams held out her hands for Vivienne to take.
Vivienne kept her notebook on the side table, and held hands with grams.
"Now, you have to try and siphone at least a little bit of magic out of me."
"What?" Vivienne pulled her hands away, "I can't, I-i might take all of it and-"
"Trust me. You won't." Sheila said.
Vivienne stared at the hands of the witch in front of her for a few minutes before slowly reaching out to them and holding them lightly.
Vivienne started panicking as soon as she saw the red light coming out.
"Don't panic. Close your eyes, and concentrate on the amount you want"
Taking a deep breath, Vivienne sealed her eyes shut, concentrating on the amount she wanted.
Soon, the rush of energy she could feel going inside her body, calmed down, and went slowly, indicating that she wasn't taking all of it too quickly.
Once she was sure she had enough, she tried letting go of the hands, but grams held onto them.
"Try and stop it as well." She said.
Vivienne nodded, then concentrated on stopping the magic flowing inside her body, while holding onto gram's hands.
And after a few seconds,
It worked.
..••..••..••..••..••..••..
Vivienne was now driving back to her place.
It was almost dark.
Vivienne could still feel The amount of magic she absorbed from grams.
And it felt wonderful.
Now she just needs to be carful to not use it all at once.
"Vivienne."
Vivienne sat up straight, her blood running cold.
Out of the corner of her eye, she could see a spirit sitting in the passenger seat.
"I am Emily Bennett. Listen to me. It's about the crystal"
Vivienne stopped the car, then sighed deeply and turned towards Emily.
"What do you want?"
"The crystal has to be destroyed, or it will be the reason that all those tomb vampires come out. They will burn the town to the ground because for them, this town is the reason they have been dead for over a century"
"But why did you save all the tomb vampires?" Vivienne asked.
"Because of Damon Salvatore."
Vivienne groaned.
