"Yeah. Can we meet today?" He asked.

Andaleeb gritted her brows together. "Why? Is everything alright?"

"Do something have to be wrong for us to meet?" His tone held an hint of amusement as he uttered this.

Andaleeb masked a scoff at this. "Of course, not. I didn't mean that. Fine, we'll meet. I have no problem. Where should be the venue?"

"Don't worry about that. I'll come to your house to pick you up. Then we will decide a place to meet in person."

"Alright. I am a bit right now, Mohid. See you soon." She hurriedly end the discussion.

                          ______________

As she was getting ready for a supposed date with her fiance, she didn't know how to lash out her annoyance. It was irritating her like ever to spend some time with Mohid when all her mind and heart wanted was Aurang. She had wasted a reliable person like Daneen as well to talk her heart out with her after this engagement. Now she had to keep all this inside of her for these five months. The decision wasn't easy. She had to leave her house, this lifestyle, her family, and everyone else. But in front of her love for Aurang, it now didn't matter.

Andaleeb wore a blue jeans with a white crop top and a blue sweater. As she applied a bit of makeup to enhance her look, she remembered Aurang. She got dolled up like this for him always and now that was for Mohid. Thinking that it would burst open the veins of her brain, she got hold of her phone and called Aurang.

"I am forced to go on a date with him. And I am doing all this for you, Aurang. I wish it was you, instead," she lashed out as soon as he accepted the call.

"Andi, sweetheart..."

"Promise me you will value my sacrifice and love. Promise me that you won't leave me in the middle. Promise me that you will support me when I will leave my own family for you," she continued, ignoring what he said.

"I promise."

She smiled. "I love you so much. And your love will give me the strength I need. I won't call you again Aurang. It's too risky now. I will meet you as your bride very soon for our happily ever after."

"This is what which would happen. My love will be your companion, Andaleeb. I love you too."

She took a deep breath before staring back at the mirror. She froze seeing two big tears on either side of her cheek. Did she just cry while talking to Aurang? Quickly wiping it, she grabbed her handbag as the maid told her that Mohid was there to pick her up.

Mohid stood tall, strong, handsome, and sophisticated in front of her when she walked out, her heels making a clicking sound on the marble floor. She didnt expect him to arrange this meeting just to make sure that she was okay with this marriage. And if she wasn't, he could call it off for her because he was in no way in favor of forcing a relationship on anyone. Was she this obvious on the engagement night that Mohid caught her disapproval?

If it was a few months ago, she would have been delighted. She didnt know Mohid would be different than the typical men in her circle. She would have said the truth about her and Aurang. But now it was not fruitful. Her father would find another Mohid for him if this one declined on her request. Anyone but not Aurang. If she wanted to have Aurang, she needed to act smartly hence she cleared every doubt of his regarding this marriage. And when Mohid dropped her off, she knew he was very relaxed from her side.
