Daneen panicked seeing her hurling her handbag on the floor once they reached her room. Andaleeb now jerked away her engagement ring and then her earrings.

"Andi please!" She cried out, hastening to grab the ring which she had tossed aside.

"What, please? Huh? Do you all think that I am an idiot? Baba said that he would meet Aurang and then he would marry me off to him. But he was making me a fool. How can I be so gullible?" She yelled angrily, yanking her hands in her hair as she sat on the edge of her bed.

"You expected too much from Baba, Andaleeb. He was just avoiding your outrage. He would never wed you to Aurang," Daneen tried to make her understand.

She harshly removed tears from her cheek. "He hasn't seen my outrage yet. I will show him now."

She moved over to the bed's side table and then opened the top drawer. Within moments, she had a bottle of sleeping pills in her hand. Daneen rushed towards her.

"I would rather die than to marry anyone he wants me to," she snapped, dropping many white pills over her palm.

"Andi no, please!" Daneen grabbed her wrist and jerked it which made both the pills and bottle free from her hand. The bottle broke with a shattering sound.

She declined on the floor, crying hard. "Why can't Baba see my happiness? He loves us so much but why not in this regard?"

Daneen cupped her shoulder. "Andi, Baba still loves us. For him, you would have never remained happy with a guy like Aurang who can't fulfill your wishes. For him, Mohid is a better partner for you because he can treat you like a princess and he wouldn't make you wait for many years so that your small wishes would be achieved. Status and money matters for him a lot."

"What's bad in Aurang? You met him and you said you liked him. Why are you negating your own words, Dani?" She complained with red eyes.

Daneen shook her head. "I am not negating myself, Andaleeb. I liked Aurang because he loved you and he was a reasonable guy. But our father didn't see it that way. Try to understand that. There are some things where we have to abide him. Forget Aurang and ---"

"What are you saying?" She stood up like a jolt ran through her body. "I didn't expect it from you, Daneen. You all are so cowardly. But I won't happily accept the fate that these elders want to push over us. I will fight against it."

She forcefully made Daneen leave her room.

"You won't do anything bad, Andaleeb. Promise me," she said, holding her hands.

She gave a sinful smile. "I was a fool to even think of taking my life. But I won't now. I will fight for my right, no matter what."

Daneen didn't want to leave but her sister had made her do so. She was very anxious for her and prayed to Allah that Andaleeb wouldn't do anything bad.

She stared at her reflection through the mirror. Messed-up makeup, disheveled hair, and teary eyes. She seemed ruined right now. There was no one to listen to her. Her father would not go away from his stance an inch. Her mother had also the same thoughts that the marriage should occur seeing status and money. Daneen was a frightened girl who couldn't even take a stand for herself, let alone her.

Mohid was the son of the same people who had the same mindsets as her parents. If he had minded an arranged marriage, he would have spoken up at the same time they were hitched unofficially. Talking to him would bring nothing as those men took these things on their egos and he would be added to another person, making things difficult and tight for her. She didn't want Mohid to become apprehensive from her side as well. It would be better if he remained oblivious to her love for Aurang.

After thinking for a while, Andaleeb finally came to a point where she would not bear this. She hurried towards the en suite and grabbed her suitcase. Plopping her clothes randomly inside it, she corrected her look a bit. Quickly she called Aurang. He accepted it after so many bells.

"Baby, what happened? You are calling such late at night?" His voice seemed drowsy.

"Aurang, I have made a decision."

"What?"

"My parents would never accept you and I can't live without you. So I am leaving everything for you. I am coming to your place."

Aurang's eyes widened. What the hell did she just say? "Sweetheart. What did you just say?"
