As though his wish to see her came true as Daneen came out of the lush white curtains, busy over her phone. His heart skipped a beat at her sight. Right at this moment, Mohid wished that something would happen and that he would get Daneen instead of her prideful sister. The way she was smiling while talking to someone on the call, the way her face was glowing in that beautiful full purple maxi dress she was wearing, he wished to capture her picture in his heart for forever.
That was wrong, that was forbidden but his heart wasn't in his control. Mohid exhaled before looking away. She was someone else's and he was the to-be husband of her sister. That wasn't okay to see dreams about her.
Out of the blue, Daneen came over to where all three of them were standing. She looked much prettier from a closer look. She smiled gently and respectfully.
"AssalamoAlaikum!" Daneen greeted him and his father, giving a brief look to both of them. But he knew this look was just for the fiance of her sister.
"Baba, Mama was looking out for you," she told her father.
Sultan paused. "Oh." Then he turned towards Mohid and his father. "Excuse me. I'll be back."
"How are you, Daneen?" His father asked her as Sultan walked away.
"I am good Uncle. You all please enjoy. If you need anything, let me know. Have a nice time," she mumbled and gave a wary look to Mohid.
Tonight, Andaleeb's surprise wasn't going to be something she would like anytime. She hoped that her sister wouldn't make a show in front of the guests.

The beautiful night was made more beautiful for her when her father gave her a trip to New York as her present. Andaleeb squealed in happiness seeing her dream becoming true. She hugged her father and kissed his cheek.
"Thanks, Baba. That's such an amazing gift. I love you so much," she chimed in excitement.
Sultan grinned and hugged her back. "Baba loves you too. But my gift hasn't ended here. Here's a bigger gift waiting for my Andi."
She raised a brow. "And what's that?"
Sultan squeezed her hand and then within moments, her second gift which turned everything horrible for her was in front of her eyes. She was made to wear a delicate ring by Mohid's mother.
"Masha Allah. Every evil eyes off my beautiful daughter-in-law. May you and Mohid have a very love-filled relationship ahead," she murmured, patting her cheek.
Andaleeb clenched her jaw angrily as she felt a burning sensation in her eyes. What was that? She got engaged to Mohid and she wasn't even informed. She didn't expect it from her parents. They would go to such extent, she never imagined.
Her father conned her big time. A few weeks ago, Daneen met Aurang and she liked him. After gaining this confidence from her sister, she decided to talk to her parents about Aurang. And to her surprise, Sultan said that he would consider the one she loved, and now suddenly this. He didn't even meet Aurang and this time, he arranged her engagement with Mohid.
She was made a fool and she didn't even realize. She glared at everyone present there. Before she could get any chance to do something, her father spoke.
"So here in front of our relatives and friends, I am announcing the marriage of my precious daughter Andaleeb and my best friend's son Mohid. We will arrange a wedding for them in September this year In Sha Allah. Let's celebrate this occasion," he announced proudly.
The clapping sounded from the guests and here Andaleeb took a harsh breath inside. Why this marriage was occurring this year? That was so weird. She pulled away the ring from her finger.
